Really worth losing that much recast?
I guess that spell rarely is cast right as it's back up anyways eh, hmm. Edit: Also, solo video with Tizona! Or a Tizona "demo"! :D Yeah its :52~57 seconds in my haste/recast build w/9 shadows vs 1:13~1:15 seconds in full skill for the 10th shadow. Not too bad as I've never had to spam Occultation the instant it was up. Only bad thing is the inventory space as its +3 extra items (antica ring, symbosis gloves and mavi scarf).
Edit: That was w/o buffs. Specifics for ring as I've been asked a few times:

Got my WoE sword a few days ago, it's no almace, but CDC is ridiculous. This is without temps, I think it was a TA and DA proc on the same WS, all others were between 2-5k and I've had it since Sunday. Only buffs I had up were Triumphant Roar, Bison Steak and Minuetx2. No berserker drink or champion drink. Highest ive seen so far in the last week I've had it, by about 4k damage.
 It's fun in Abyssea... highest I have an SS of is around 8.6k or so I think, but I have hit just around 10k on the same mob (Orthrus? don't remember tbh). Always fun to see big numbers, even if they aren't very special.
edit:  Sad part is I think CDC > Drakebane and my DRG is better geared. I thnk the -attack on drakes is to blame. When I use attack food/stalwarts drakes goes to 6-8k but on average its 2.5-4k. CDC on similar mobs is trashing them for 4-5k+ easy. Probably also the 15% crit rate which helps to cap crit vs drakesbane which is like 5% at 100%TP. Pretty sure it's easy to cap 100% on CDC anyway in abyssea, right?
Floor(5%) Merits(5%) CDC(15%) RR(50%) Rancor(5%) GH(20%) Total:100% Although I usually use SS instead of GH since I think Ddex probably adds a decent chunk which would devalue the 20% from GH, so if I don't have +20% from ddex from the 90+150ish DEX, I'm probably pretty darn close to 100% cap I'd take it. Not worth using GH over SS

Yea :) Had Jonah @ 20% and he terrored us with about 45 seconds left. I thought we blew it but we pulled through :)
First win after 4 attempts (4th time doing nyzul ever) IDK if that is good, bad, average but I am so proud of our group. Not really an accomplishment, but I'm curious... I think its the assault mission Belephrons Bliss (whichever one is the khimera.) Would this be a good way to learn Turbillon?

Man I just built and killed 3 Tygers with 3 other friends last night and I didn't learn it. I don't have access to the Khimaira in assault which is a good way to learn it and I hear that you can't learn it in abyssea from the NA community but the JP community says you can. Oh and I get Hydra on floor 100 in Nyzul. Its like Spells that start with T give me the hardest time. Tail slap took 17 hours, Thunderbolt took 30 different Behemoths and so far Tourbillion is above me. x_x I finally got tourbillion 2 weeks ago, from Tyger, i guess it's my last blu accomplishment, it was the only one missing so i'm a true blue mage again with all the spells D;
The assault mission should be the best place to learn it imo, i haven't done it though, was using tags for NI. I've tried myself to learn it in abyssea, holded both Apademak and Dhorme on purpose for this but have yet to see them using it at all. Just hit the four digit mark! :D 499 to go!~  Edit: By the way, totally saw that 'Latest Dragoon Accomplishments' thread and thought it was the Blue Mage one while clicking in. :( Was all excited to see more Blue Mages getting stuff!
