Some interesting items this update, I'll fix sets once they're added to the site! c:

Meanwhile I updated the subjob section to accout for Flurry as /rdm, which makes it an amazing sub for shooting.

Should /DRG and let mages flurry!

I believe Nine Inch Nails made a song specifically about this phenomena.

Updated, most important things you should try to get your hands on from this update:

Garuda's ring+1: great for pretty much all weapon skills.

Fenrir's ring+1: best QD ring available.

Shetal Stone: huge boost for the melee set.

Less important but still worth catching if you have a chance:

Ramuh's ring+1: for acc sets.

Dread Jupon: fast cast and also a very good dd alternative when Thaumas is dangerous or need more acc and if you don't have Qaaxo for some reason.

Leviathan's ring+1: Requiescat and cures.

Note all nq versions of avatar rings are good as well except for Fenrir and Ramuh which aren't worth it if not +1.

Does Garuda+1 beat Acumen/Archon for Leaden Salute?

Trepidity mantle on darksday seems to beat terebellum for last stand too.

I have a question about cor DD, is enmity required for COR DD in events like Delve? Admittedly I haven't been on COR for a while, just got thinking to a couple weeks back.

I got asked to COR for a 2NM + boss run in kamhir for the clear, on the boss I pulled hate pretty early and almost killed the back-line so ended up holding back a fair bit.

The thing is, before I had always had accuracy issues with my 117 gun and nq reforged gear but not only was my accuracy pretty high, did good damage too. Factors that have changed since then are obviously the stronger rolls (Merivoso Ring) and the fact our main bard completed his 99 harp but it took me off guard.

I suppose I de-railed myself there a bit as I was wondering, to be the most efficient you can be in this sort of situation, will it be necessary to shoot in -enmity?

When doing a rng setup yes, you most definetely need enmity- gear and if possible ws with Wildfire(as in where the damage is not too far from LastStand, some things resist it too much to make it worthwhile - like bird with aura).

Use wildfire/leaden salute for less hate, TP/WS in -enmity gears, enmity- merit, /DRG and use high jump as soon as it's up. Also sometimes hate issue depend on the quality of PLD.

I cant remember, does the +marksmanship on gun affect m.acc at all or just main hand weapon? If so martial gun would be ideal for melee TP->leaden, right?

I remember skill does affect macc, but I didn't notice resist issue with martial gun on mandy outside of adoulin!

I haven't try it in delve, not sure if it's usable in delve or not. It'd be quite OP if no resist on yorcia NM.

I doubt it. Delve II NMs would have at least double~triple the magic evasion of peon lv101 mobs outside the city gates

The skill does affect the macc, you don't wanna use martial neither in Delve or hard battlefields.

So did I read wrong (long ago) that main hand weapon affect macc somehow also?

I mean, have I wrongly been using Vanir dagger when I should have been using Chat. staff? This would be a huge f'up on my part.

Ppl been saying main hand weapon also affects macc too, but I'm not sure if it's 100% confirmed or not.

Short answer is no.

Sehachan can better explain the MAcc stuff.

There hasn't been any proper testing and so far it's all been based on anecdotal evidence from pretty much everyone, and it's been global opinion that the macc on the main hand does affect QD and ws greatly reducing the resist rates on high level content.

I'm fairly certain macc from mainhand does help, I spent awhile goofing off on Dnc/Cor lightshotting stuff with the decazoom-mk-xi camera and some light cards on foret crabs.
I did 30 lightshots and they all landed for 30+ sec duration except for 2 resists. This was while mainhanding my terpsi which has 215 macc.
For dnc job that has no native marks skill and subbing /cor I was surprised at QD effectiveness.

Also for Cor main I don't use chat staff anymore, everytime I try to use it on anything hard and hope to go for bigger QD numbers with it I see resists.

Hrmmm, well I'm confused on why martial gun wont work unless macc for QD is based on main hand and WS macc is based on gun (which of course is entirely possible.

No, the point is both affect it. Main hand as said it's speculated based on mostly people experience, ranged it's obvious and it's been confirmed by devs too some time ago.

Pshhh Afa. Took 25~ tries for this one. Was the only -5 QD I got so I was happy. Good for light/dark shot tho mirite.

Did 30 scraps for my seiryu's kote before that and didn't get beans. I squeed on mumble when I saw this one tho and was happy enough with it... Chim got lucky and I gave him all my spoils from a pretty (un)productive salvage run for making this (and he also got a carbite! Lucky dog)

Edit: phone auto correct etc etc

Tatters can't be that expensive now right?
Although synergy and it's randomness can *** right off...
