Bleach Manga Thread [spoilers]

yup, been thinking the same thing myself for years too! Zaraki going to learn how to fight now ... should be interesting. I'm going to guess Yachiru has something to do with him learning how to use his sword. She's never done anything other than scare people the entire series.

Holy ***, Unohana is even more badass than we could have possibly imagined.

I like how Soul Society made an immediate decision on the new Captain Commander at least, not like when they had to appoint new Captains when Aizen/Gin/Tousen defected.

- Huh, we lost three Captains. We should probably appoint some new ones asap since ***is going down.

- Nah, let's let the anime do a predictable filler arc on it and decide after.

*filler arc is done*

- Ok, filler is over! Let's get some new Captains in here before Aizen makes his move- oh ***too late.

*Aizen arc concludes*

- Oooooooooook, let's just make some of those old Vizard Captains the new Captains, even though we ostracized and humiliated them over something that wasn't even their fault. Oh and tell Shinji to cut his *** hair, it's unbecoming.

- Brilliant! *soul spirit captain-making fingers*

Im glad we get to see why Zaraki has not really improved a lot and its been because the captains felt like his power was more than they could control im sure his personality had a lot to do with it. The amount of power he has would end fights instantly.

His sword really does reflect him greatly, the sword is dull and chipped away, it cuts through anything sure because there is power behind it but it has not been refined and sharpened, it has more potential.

I was sure Unohana would become first commander, wasn't expecting Kyoraku instead.

Anyway, the name is Yachiru...is that a hint about something going on with the little Yachiru?

still waiting for Yoruichi to make an appearance.

I expect Yoruichi to fight someone stronger than her in tag with Soifon during the final clash. And then releasing some bankai that will cause some epic stuff to happen, like millions of kitties flying at the enemy or something.

Well, looks like Unohana is gonna die soon, according to Kyoraku(since Zaraki can't as he's bound to narrative chains).

This sounds like a very stupid plot twist to me. Why is Unohana (wasn't her first name Kotetsu or something for the longest time.. now all the sudden it's Yachiryu Zaraki?) all the sudden this beast of a villain when her character for the entire manga/anime has been a benevolent healer? This just seems so far out of left field, it's pretty stupid >_<.

It was always stated she was the most powerful shinigami after Yamamoto, it's not really a plot twist. The real surprise is that she was the famous 11th division captain they mentioned ages ago.

Wasn't it said that Kenpachi killed the old captain though?

Her name is Yachiru Unohana, and it was foreshadowed very early on when Kenpachi Zaraki said that Yachiru Kusajishi was named after the only person he admired. It wasn't completely out of the blue, but it definitely was a surprise, but we always knew Unohana was an amazing fighter.

This too though...

He did kill the 10th Kenpachi, but it also seems that Unohana and Zaraki got into it at some point.

But also strong doesn't mean this ruthless beast she is now portrayed as. That's more the issue I have with this.
