Idk, I think it'll be related to the Quincy clan that decided to get her. Remember all this started cause they invaded Soul Society, killed people and broke zanpas.

Hmmm could be. I really hope it's not that Ichigo went hollow and killed her. That would be so fricking cliche...
Was the hollow that tricked Ichigo trying to eat him and instead getting his mom only in the anime? if it was, ignore the rest.
(I didn't start reading the manga til the second filler series & skipped everything before the up to date at the time)
I'd think 1/4 things
1. Aizen got that hollow to target them.
2. The Quincy clan decided she was a liability and decided to get a hollow to do their dirty work.
3. Soul Society worked a deal with the hollow to get their captain back.
4. Urahara did it as part of some experiment.
They just had Ichigo enter the the place where the king of soul society lives.
It must have been him.
Name too long, let's just call him Soul King.
Hmm, I know what he looks like too!
I am so done with Bleach. I can't take more of this Tite Kubo trolling. I don't know who's worse at setting up revelations 300 chapters down the road Tite Kubo or Hideo Kojima. It's like did he plan this from the start or is he making it up as he goes along.
Great now another excuse for Ichigo to become stronger sigh... sometimes Shonen Mangas are a little annoying because main characters have that Goku syndrome, and now Byakuya and Kenpachi will just be relegated to Krillen/Piccolo status. Kenpachi's powerup will be as short lived on Juha Bach as Picollo's fusion with Nail was against Frieza.
Get the gist and fast translation from mp, and then later on ms will tell us what it actually said!
Edit: We still don't know whose bodies science-captain saw hanging in Szayel's laboratory and why it was remotely interesting. That's always bugged me.
I think one has to be Yoruichi, if Tite hasn't forgotten that tidbit.
