Gay Rights Abroad

Basicly regardless of if you realize it or not every day of the year is straight pride. Go out the the mall and you can see straight people holding hands/arm in arm/making out on the benchs, turn on your TV, watch a movie or even commercials and 99% of the time it will be filled with straight couples unless you are going for otherwise on purpose. Pritty much everything about society screams be striaght, gay pride isn't about thinking being gay is special, its about one or 2 days a year where they can go out in public and not have to be as afraid of who might see them hold their partner's hand, where everything around them doesn't scream "You're doing it wrong". Its a difficult thing to try and explain

If this is still neccissary or not? It really depends on where you are, in some places gays are treated poorly enough that it is. In others it has simply evolved into a celebration for everyone, I know tons of straight people who go every year just because it's good fun.

Gay pride kind of annoys me sorry to say, if my family see a snippet of a parade they assume that is what being gay is and it posed so many challenges for me in trying to convince them otherwise. But they still think it's me wanting to be a woman and do drag and be in your face and ride *** all day but yeah... some people really like it but not me.

Transgenders deserve equal rights too. It's full of crossdressing people, true, and that's how it should be. Gender identity not always matches biological gender. The world needs to deal with it and accept it.

No offense but if gay people want to be equal (which they should idc) they need to stop with the gay march ***, sure be gay who cares but do you really need over the top parades to celebrate taking it up the ***?

Its over the top *** and most of the "eyerolling" regarding the gay rights thing that im aware of is usually over the over dramatic drama queen *** that goes along with pride day and the never ending automaatic offended gay people that come with it.

Most of the people I know couldn't care less about your personal private sexuality but at the same time they get sick of gay people having this desperate need to shove it in peoples faces and go on about the fact they are gay.

Be gay be straight or be whatever you want, total *** (pardon the pun) ZERO!!!! just... enough of the lameness that is gay pride and ***.

The only time I've felt discriminated against was when I went to give blood, all gays have aids apparently! :D

Actually the blood donation thing is regarding anyone who has taken one up the *** within 12 months, gay is nothing to do with it. Just swallow each other if you want to be a donor and yoru good to go!!!

People haven't gotten over the clearly-skewed "research" that was done a few decades ago that "proved" anal promotes the spread of AIDs. I'm not saying it doesn't, but it certainly isn't the only culprit.

It's not really the same thing though, there isn't marches and events celebrating straight sexual orientation and letting the world know about it.

People such as yourself are the reason that pride parades are important.

Why is everything i read online now or see a meme for is gay.. Not hating I just never really see alot of gays and yet when i'm online it seems like everyone is. The internet is the closet.

I've actually sent several inquiries about that sort of thing, including complaints that the only character that was actually ("sort of", it was never explicitly stated) characterized as gay was a programmed stereotype. Quite disappointing, really.
