Popping NMs

I remember reading somewhere that SE said when you pop a NM in dynamis it puts you in a separate sort of state right? If this is true does that mean no players or other monsters can interfere with your battle with the NM?

This was a while ago so I dont really remember and could be something totally else, but I'd thought I would ask anyway.

Other monsters can still mess you up, but no one outside your group can claim the NM if it goes white, as I understand it.

The state 'confrontation' exists, where no outside players can act on you or your NM. The state also exists in BCNMs(could pos hack into other people's bcs back in the day, but not touch their monsters, chests, or selves).

It is active on dynamis lord, arch dynamis lord, and pretty sure all of the mega bosses. There is no confrontation on lesser NMs(odious) that I have seen.

Other monsters can interfere if you're thinking of trying to solo your fragment on SMN. I don't know if it's still possible without kiting though, they're not terribly hard mobs.

I dont think thats true, pretty sure outside mobs wont aggro you.

I actually tested this with a random pop i had for the knuckles. Other monsters will still try to kill you. Just an fyi for those who were actually interested.
