If you're looking for a good starter XML for SMN, this is my current version!

Looks solid... going to try this one out with a few customizations. Perfect timing, as I'm getting close to getting the majority of my SMN gear squared away.

Has anyone experienced any issues with this particular spellcast ever since the December update?

It used to work wonderfully, but now I've noticed hardly any of the variables work now and gear changes are sloppy.

I'm not using this particular spellcast, but of all my different xmls my smn one seems to be broken after the last update and I have no idea why. I'll summon an avatar and it'll put me in -perp gear, then if I use a JA or cast a spell, it'll swap accordingly but then put me in my idle set (no avatar). Drives me nuts. -.-

I never said it was the devil. People asking if things are things is a thing?

I wonder if this is the "lingering pet issues" mentioned here: http://forums.windower.net/files/file/4-spellcast/. Either way I downloaded this new version hoping it'll fix the issue.

I can confirm that that spellcast version did fix the problems I had with the december update.

The smn xml I use is based on Whitewing's.

Just sounded like you had a very negative opinion about spellcast based on your response. I'd say it's a lot more work than hitting excessive amounts of macros to keep your xmls up to date and optimized tbh.
