The dates for when the 1.0 servers come back up or when 2.0 launches are currently unknown. Pretty sure the 1.0 servers arent coming back up
1.0 servers aren't coming back up and 2.0 is sometime next year at the same time as PS3 release (confirmed by the community manager at SE)

servers are live just they are extremely crowded just keep trying to log in.
Took me a couple tries to get in on Durandal. There's crazy lag and apparently people are dc'ing trying to get into Ul'dah.

Sounds like the comet hitting the servers actually killed the servers. Who knew.
I found it to be full of ***..I liked following through with the way the community thought it was going to end...but at least let us go down fighting. I wanted to use my fake relics to strike down a few *** before i jumped forward in time Q_Q
but still, epic ending was epic either way you put it. I was hoping Inspector Hildibrand would come out at the end to save us all...but oh well. ;_;

That also takes the spot of the most intense/amazing cutscene I have ever witnessed in any game, let alone a Final Fantasy title. It was 99% percent perfectly done, save for them omitting a Monk for some reason. So much emotion. Was really impressive.

I did not get to go to the event since I was at work, but just before it was hitting to I felt like I should do something so I sang Answers since no one else was there to judge me/have to endure that. I add my tears to the bucket.
