Panetiere
Do you have it?
I even gave up trying to decorate my mog house for the moment but I'm still sitting at maxed out safe/locker/storage. Tends to happen when you try to gear little things on every job you play and SE insists on continuing to add stupid sidegrade gear that's only macro'd in for one action.

taking 120+ nyzul runs is a lie, ive been farming tokens with 2 friends, and we get anywhere from 4k-6k tokens a run starting at 81, and usually getting to like 92-96.

People don't seem to understand how little interest it takes to cause alexandrite prices to climb. You can have one new person enter the market and see a 50% increase in average costs.

Yeah and that one new person sure is 24hrs online ready to buy and hunt all bazaars ... ohwait there are timezones and different play/afk shedules :P
I think saying ONE SINGLE person entring the market is harsh, didnt impact my market when i entered tho.
My 2cent.

Nah minjo was correct. It only takes people knowing that 1 person is working on alex for a mythic seriously and they'll jump prices up. Otherwise alex stays in the same bazaars for the same prices day after day. That's how it was on fenrir and not so much different here on bahamut it seems. Also about nyzul tokens. floor 91-104 is about 6k tokens. x7 days = 42k a week. 150k tokens take 1.5 months.

Mine has my goldsmithing ***in a corner (my stall and stuff), and the main area is a fight scene between my mannequins + prishe vs the AA's + behemoth and faffy lol. I love my little set up.

You gave up on decorating your moghouse? Shame on *** you.
I finally had to store/mule my furniture this week to make room for haks after getting ebisu. :(
This does not happen on sylph.
On a side note, Do you have to unlock the weaponskill before starting a mythic? I wanna say no.
The price is definitely going up thou, albeit slowly. It wasn't long ago I had them rotting in bazaar at 14.5k, now they get bought out near instantly at 16.5k (standard seems to be 17?), people even travel to nashmau to get them from my bazaar when I'm fishing, lol.
I think the price is going to keep going up as people realize they can charge more. Not to mention lots of people seem to be starting up mythics these days, probably out of lack of anything else left to do.

It's not a lie, I forgot that you can enter with less people. I had this done a while ago when it was popular. Also, you're not starting from floor 1. You get less points starting from the bottom. So lets just say you got 4k points every run from 1-100 saving it at every 5 floors, you will obtain 80k points in 20 days. Which means it will take close to 40 days to obtain 150,000 points.

That's not entirely true. The cost will not jump from 20k to 30k because of 1 person. And you are only thinking of one side of the equation. More people are going to be obtaining Alex's as well. Having made 2 mythics I can say that I definitely notice when there's another person buying. All it takes is one person cleaning out the 15k alex for people to price it at 17k. And then they buy out all the 17k alex and then the new price is 20k.
Also, if you're serious about tokens you would do old Nyzul and get at least 5k tokens per run. You need a runic key to start the quest so yes, you're starting on 91 or 96. And most people will already have a stock of tokens or ampoules just from doing regular endgame activities.

Don't forget about the resellers, we've had a couple new ones pop up that add 500g-2k markup per piece which keeps prices up.
Marking up a stack of alex by 1k makes them 99k richer so i can see the appeal, but it also contributes to raising the price since other people look to other bazaars for pricing guidance.
I make it a point to never buy from resellers in the hope it keeps prices down, although I know someone else gives in and encourages them to keep sniping alexandrite that are 1-2k under their own selling price.
I'm very curious if the 'DC Trick' will work for neo salvage, or if they add some 'emergency teleport' if the party size drops under 3, like they do with Odin when you drop under 6 people.

You guys are talking about today's Akexandrite market, where there is very little natural supply and people will only farm it if it's comparable to their dynamis gil/hr. Of course prices don't drop under those conditions.

Why not just start at 96?

Go study up on Nyzul and how tokens get rewarded then you can answer your own question.

There is no reason to not start at 96. The floor 1 afterwards acts as floor 101 as far as tokens rewarded.

Does it, really? I seem to recall getting more tokens the last time I did going from 90->~100 than I did 95->~05 the last time I did it. It's been a while since I've run Nyzul though.

Last time I did old Nyzul for tokens was like... 6 months ago, but I remember getting less tokens starting at 96 presumably due to the low token rewards for floors 1-10. Usually started on 81 or 86 for token farming as well.

[22:27:51]’Floor 15 objective complete. Rune of Transfer activated.
[22:27:57]You obtain 7290 tokens!
Four person party gives 7290 for reaching floor 15 from floor 96 (without armband).
390 for 96-100, per floor reward increases by 10 every 5 floors.
390*5+400*5+410*5+420*5=8100
90% reward because four people.
8100*.9=7290

| | Regarding Limbus Adjustments
{{Two quoted posts about how the chip requirement to try original Omega/Ultima is annoying at this point because the three day limitation is still in place. References to how you have to spend 4 or 6 runs farming chips for the old Omega/Ultima while once you farm the KIs for the new Omega/Ultima all you need is ABCs. Asked to make it possible to exchange ABCs for all types of chips.}}
We believe that the steps to get to the boss in the higher tier expansion of Limbus is balanced because of the high number of Ancient Beastcoins required. The idea behind this is that you may earn the required number of coins in parallel with collecting materials or chips for the lower tier bosses, allowing you to save time.
For Limbus in general, we have in the past received a lot of feedback about the harsh restriction on retry time. Since it has been some time since the addition and players have quite well completed most of the content, we have decided to reduce the waiting time on purchasing Cosmo-Cleanse to 20 hours in this month's version update, so feel free to challenge this event more often. (The waiting time on Einherjar will be reduced equally.)
In other situations, we also want to reduce the burden on the collection of chips to challenge the higher tier battles Limbus areas and original bosses. In order to avoid concentration of the inventory/collection burden on one player, we will remove the "EX" attribute from chips so that they can easily be gathered together.
While we considered the exchange of Ancient Beastcoins to chips like you suggested, we have decided to maintain the status quo regarding the entry conditions at this time. That being said, this may be in the works for future version updates, in case you don't mind waiting a little longer.

| | Limbus Adjustments
Greetings and happy Friday!
During this month’s version update we will be reducing the amount of time necessary before obtaining Cosmo-Cleanse. We have been receiving a lot of feedback since a while back mentioning that the wait times were a bit too restricting, so we would like to make it easier to access this content. With that said, after the adjustment takes place the wait time will be reduced to 20 hours. Additionally, we will also be making the same wait time reduction adjustment to Einherjar.
Besides this adjustment, we would also like to reduce the stress of gathering chips needed to access the higher-tier Limbus. Specifically, we will be removing the EX status on chips, enabling people to work together to assemble sets.
We originally looked into exchanging ancient beast coins for chips, but felt that this would increase the uses of ancient beast coins too much, and also mix up the requirements for the higher-tier areas, so we decided to keep this aspect as is.
This adjustment will not make it in time for the December version update, but it is slated for the version update to follow. | |
