I agree that Montante +1 is better than Raetic outside of Escha, I just don't see any occasion where you would use Montante +1 anymore if you have R15 Chango.

Is there consensus on what attribute to gear for on break weaponskills? Making a magic accuracy set, not sure which one to choose. I've seen it discussed before but forgot.

Honestly for Leg Sweep/Breaks/Shockwave/Ageha/Infernal Scythe I try to go for acc/macc.

So 5/5 Flamma+2/Flamma Ring/Dignitary Earring
Fotia Belt/Gorget (If I recall it gives 10 acc/macc per piece)

This is what I'm using.

ItemSet 364234

The augments on the cape will be 30 macc/mdmg and 20 of some attribute which I'm trying to figure out.

What would you class as low / med / high accuracy sets? Like how much accuracy should I aim for in a /checkparam before food and buffs in each set?

I like how Ejiin determine tiered acc sets in this SAM video since it's easy to understand and useful for general purpose.

Basically you build a set in lowest acc with max dps, then build a set with max acc, get the number for both then divided by number of tiers that you aim for.

Say if your lowest acc set is 1100 and highest is 1280. Your 1100 would be lowest acc and 1280 be max acc.

Then if you want 4 tier of acc, you can do 1280 - 1100 = 180. 180/3=60. So each set would have increment of 60 acc aka 1100 1160 1220 1280.

From there you can tweak sets based on content and pt setup. Say if you are doing a content with 1400 requirement but with buff and food you only get 1380 in a 1160 set, you can just add another 20 to that set and hit 1400.

Personally I just use spreadsheet to see which acc swap slot has lowest dps lose and whenever I make acc swaps I start with lowest dps lose first.

my acc tiers are based on apex WAR mob evasion, so 1029 / 1113 / 1203 (2H values,) haven't had a need for anything higher than that.

2 Normal hits = 416
1 Normal hit = 208
1 Crit = 220

So what is it?

I don't think path C will be worth it even for MS. It would be +37% more TP per hit (not counting 10 STP on Chango), so it rather wouldn't win with +500 TP bonus and +10% Upheaval damage on top of it.

I'm going to guess path A double dmg will not proc on weaponskill, so leaning towards path B.

Path B is a 50% chance for a bonus attack on each attack round, Path A is +25 Store TP that's also present during WS. I think that Path B is probably best overall if someone doesn't range to R15 a Chango.

Looking for a little Resolution help, using Ragnarok. I'm wondering what you guys augmented your Argosy +1 with, specifically body, hands, and feet. I currently have Path A Body and Legs, Path D hands. My Reso set looks like this:

Hey guys, have a couple of questions about R15 Chango:

For Mighty Strikes WS: Is Upheaval spam with R15 Chango better than Reso spam now?

And

Is R15 Chango better in general to use in Escha now than Raetic Algol +1?

I cant say 100% since my Chango is only Rank 10 atm but I prefer it (and simply using parser for reference so ill say that now) but Chango upheaval spam during MS seems to produce more dmg all around including fully buffed situations. Can not comment at all on the second question, sorry, i suspect yes, but never played with the Raetic +1

I’d use chango. A single light or radiance would be a massive dps boost and SCs happen more than people like yo acknowledges during zergs.

This. I even sold my Raetic + 1. Plus if you don’t have a proper MS set (which is a pain in the *** thanks to Oseem), R15 Chango performs pretty good with empy feet+1 + your standard WS gear.

Gaxe also has Full Break. Sekka resolution is kinda trash damage since the tp bonus doesn't work. The defense/Evasion down will probably do more in the long run too. Not just for you, but other melees.

That's not what Sekka is for anyway, it's a DPS booster at the start of a fight when your already at 3K TP.

3K -> Sekka -> 1K TP WS -> 2300 TP WS (TP return from first is added to second).

And if your going for defense down, Armor Break is 2x as effective as Full Break, FB just happens to be in a good SC position for starting a multi-step.

I really do prefer the utility of GAXE. R15ing it makes it so much better/viable.

Empy Feet and Yetshila +1 is all I use on high end content. It wont hurt your ACC too bad. But on lower stuff can use Valorous augmented with crit dmg+.

Pretty much mandatory for Reso spam under MS.

Upheaval is probably a little more complicated due to WSdmg+ being effective with the front loaded first hit.

I largely agree with this. The accuracy hit from swapping out other gear end up cause a DPS loss. I don't feel like it's worthwhile to sub out any of these pieces unless you're overbuffed accuracy wise. You make a toggle for this condition or assume that when you're in your lowest set that accuracy is always capped. As long as you're not blindly subbing in crit damage gear any time you have mighty strikes it should be good.
