It should be fine at Nyame R20 as well, PDL will have less use if not fully buffed for attack so just swap out the legs for Nyame on harder stuff.

DRG for WS dmg, but WAR/PLD is quite fun for fencer build as well.

Being able to pop Berserk/Retaliation/Sentinel allows you to tank a lot of things while holding hate with really nothing more than high damage Savage Blades (you still have voke and flash at your disposal if needed, and shield bash to stun). Kirin/Kouryu, Eriny's, Albumen are just a few things I've tanked as WAR/PLD while also putting out the majority of the damage.

There's also been a few ambuscades where /PLD has been my preferred go to.

VR rings - Which one do you think will be most beneficial for WAR?

Cornelia's Ring
Weapon Skill Accuracy+10 Weapon Skill damage +10%

Ephramad's Ring
STR+10 DEX+10 AGI+10 Accuracy+20 Attack+20 Ranged Accuracy+20 Ranged Attack+20 Physical damage limit +10%

Fickblix's Ring
"Double Attack"+10 "Subtle Blow"+10 Pet: Accuracy+20 Ranged Accuracy+20 Magic Accuracy+20 Damage+10%

Lehko Habhoka's Ring
DEX+10 "Store TP"+10 Haste+10% Critical hit rate +10%

Right now I'm drawn to the Epramad's Ring. But not settled for sure.

If they had combined Ephramad's and Fickblix's then I would go with that, as it stands neither is outstanding. Cornelia is an upgrade but not a large amount due to the insane WSD we already have access to, Lehko is looking very interesting though.

I guess it would really depend what you do on WAR. If you are Savage Blade ONRY, then Cornelia. If you explore and use the other WS's then it would depend.

I'm not sure what the meta is at the moment been away and catching up.
the Damage +10% on Fickblix has me confused. is that per round, or applies to WS's as well?
probably wrong due to looking at these with 2016/2017 eyes, but my gut says Lehko Habhoka's Ring.
the others have close enough existing contenders like regal ring.

Ephramad's just seems like Regal Ring #2 with PDL. I like it, personally, because I love attack, but Lehko's would be very useful for a variety of TP sets. Flickblix's, I don't see opening up too many options on WAR. +10 STP on cape maybe, but the +10 STP off Lehko's also has 10% crit rate, and that's an overall better trade.

I could be wrong though.

The problem here is unknown factors. How good will be aftermath on Primes and how good will be new song. Most likely song is 12% pdl with +7song and aftermath will probably be at least 10%. So effectiveness of 10% play ring could be amazing or it could have no impact at all, because you might not be able to reach cap with too much pdl from other sources.

And what content that matters can actually make good use of more PDL.

Don't see it being much of benefit in either Odyssey or Sortie. Segment farming, maybe.

The haste on the ring is nice by itself. But seeing as they've added PDL+ gear, why not add gear haste cap limit-breaking items? Before someone comes in with a "that would break the game";
ML's breaking through the SJ cap is pretty game-breaking. So was the increase of the level cap from 75 to 99. Job points were game-breaking. game has been broken over and over, again and again.
I'm still in awe of all these 99k jinpus being spammed by bots none-stop in every single ML PT zone.

Unless the upper limit on melee delay reduction is also increased, just adding more gear haste won't do anything.

Yes it would make it so you could cap delay with a Naegling and not have to make a Prime Weapon.

Instead of giving jobs more itemization flexibility to use low haste gear while TPing, as it was intended to do.

Yes, it would mean will need less magic/ja haste to reach cap.

I meant in terms of breaking the game, it would still be subject to the delay reduction limit.

There was no cap, we could just reach ~93.75%.

Magic 43.75%
Gear 25% (needed Apoc or some GA to cap)
LR 15% (Was the cap back then)
Hasso 10%

Apoc swung so fast that WSing was a DPS loss.

They capped it at 80% for a reason, going beyond that plus all the MA gear today would be a bit much.

It was insanely fun, but a lot of that was there were only a few per server and it was Godmode. We were zerging Kirin just by super buffing my DRK. He was dead in under 30 seconds for a fight that took alliances way longer than that.
