I think you mean Last Stand, and you're probably good to go with that set up, but for WF you might want to change to the HQ prismy staff thing.

I'd wildfire in the Chatoyant thingy, but I was looking at a DD style, riding the aftermath with Last Stand. Don't use Wild Fire for the Aftermath, use if because Last Stand sucks against X target.

Is Wildfire a good dmg WS even before Last stand?
For some mobs wildfire will out damage last stand, but for most you'd be better off sticking to last stand. If you're planning on using last stand for a certain mob though, shouldnt be using a staff.

I don't play ranger, but I would think it's still not too bad, considering the ratt *shrug*. And yes, use wildfire more so for mobs that are physical resistant, or plain weak to fire dmg I would think. Also I'm guessing OP that's your shot set and not WS, but clarify if you would, what is your WS set? Basicly, if /war, use a 1hand weapon for Fencer.

Firestorm is very powerful with chatoyant, so unless you have a mage that can give it to you sch is superior. But ofc if the mage can buff you then blm or blu are top choices.
