DUE TO A LOT OF PEOPLE LEAVING FOR FFXIV (INCLUDING MYSELF) CHEMICAL RECRUITMENT IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST.

Chemical is a Linkshell on the Phoenix server. It was established by Audacity in February 2013. Is it a cross between a social linkshell and an event linkshell. We're active at all times of the day so players from any time zone are welcome to join.

Why we're not quite an event linkshell:
  • There's no schedule. Life can be unpredictable. Sometimes you don't know if you can be in game at certain times. There's also work and social activities outside of the game. Therefore we do not have a schedule. We do stuff often on impulse and at random times. Members can plan their own schedule if they wish to do so.

  • 'Events' aren't mandatory. If you're in game and can provide help, great. But if you're busy with something else no problem. The more effort you put in, the more stuff you'll get.

Why we're not quite a standard social linkshell:
  • Our members are keen to progress in the game and better their gear. Not just settle for full Perle/Teal/Aurore when a job hits 99.

  • We're confident enough to try anything that this game has to offer and take any setbacks as a learning experience.

Events we have successfully participated in:

Salvage. (Normal and Neo, nurmerous completed pieces across the shell)
Neo Nyzul Isle.
All aspects of lolabyssea. Can do a single stage of an empy in 1 sitting.
All Delve wins.
Skirmish.
Meeble Burrows.

By accepting a pearl to our linkshell you are accepting the following rules:

1: No drama. We can disagree and talk. but it stops there. You risk having your pearl broken if you cause ***. This also applies to actions that may give Chemical a bad reputation, such as trash talking in /shout or /yell, MPK, stealing mobs etc

2: Although we intend to help each other out. There are times where everyone is busy and cannot provide assistance. There are some days where people don't feel like helping you out at a drop of a hat. If you're the kind of person that *** in this situation, please don't apply.

3: We take pride in how we gear our jobs. While we understand that not everyone has access to the best gear, We appreciate it if people can make the best out of what they do have. and we want people who are always looking to improve. (No full perle, teal, aurore etc) We will now not accept anyone with the above gear as abyssea is so easy now that there's no excuse.

4: Have fun! This is a game after all!

If this sounds like something you would like to be a part of, please apply on our guildwork site or send a /tell Audacity for a pearl or more information

Thanks!

Should at least add average playtime. Cause even if all zones are welcome, people might want to join something that fits them better.

Fair point. Looking at around 5PM - 7PM EST planned events but members are free to do their own stuff. I'll add it to the post.

Bump. Made some changes to the thread.

We've established a nice little group of players. And we're all mostly from the UK or Europe. Therefore we're going to focus more on GMT times. Players from all time zones are still welcome however.

No longer planning events for weekends. Just going to be a shell who help each other out when they need it.

Thought good gear requirements for a social shell was a little harsh. therefore we're looking for members with positive attitudes in bettering their characters.

Any questions please ask. :)

Bump. Some people are busy so we're looking for more members to fill the roster a bit more. Made some good progress doing empyreans, salvage and starting to explore the new content a bit more. All time zones welcome but we're mostly active in EU times!

/tell Audacity in game or if you can't get hold of me, submit an application at http://chemical.guildwork.com and I'll get back to you asap!

Thanks for reading.

just asking but are there any set event? or is it more of a social shell
When you say its for veteran only what does it imply?

you say ppl are not in full pearl/aureo/teal but how about emp weapons? are this a ls that does not need to use a lot of time in abyssea?

Bump! Still looking for chilled out people that want to kill ***. We have a large percentage of NA players even though we're a EU shell. So we should have something for all time zones. :D

Bump. Updated opening post. We will now not accept anyone who thinks settling for full perle/aurore/teal gear is acceptable. Abyssea isn't hard so go gear your jobs somewhat decently before applying.

We now have a variety of members from all over the world so we're active at most times of the day.

As always, any questions ask me or apply on guildwork.
