The linkshell hasn't been removed (yet if at all) because it serves a personal purpose that is unconveyed on FFXIAH. It's not vulgar in nature, nor does it have any non-members listed. There are no traces or instances of a connection except from an emotional PM claiming harassment?

I understand previous harassment and perhaps this message was a warning for previous actions but thats why questions are being asked as to where the line is for FFXIAH since it seems fairly unclear.

No player warning threads. No linkshell threads. No names or vulgar language is currently used, so is there a fault?

i dont agree with that, there is too much that could fall under "player warning" with that logic. no?

dont get me wrong, the petty bs should be kept to a minimum and its prolly best not to call someone or a group out cause its just bs thats simply not needed. but to generalize it is just a cop out from giving a real answer.

There is a right way and a wrong way to tell someone they are doing it wrong. Giving advice in a constructive manner on how to tank a particular mob as opposed to simply making fun of or calling someone out.

Or in another case kindly reminding fellow posters that they could stand to be a bit more tactful when giving advice to others as opposed to simply pointing out how most of you are childish condescending dickwads who should just put their hands in running blenders and save us all the pain of reading your elitist posts.

I already explained that it was too far before but now it's just right and not violating anything. I assumed it would already be removed due to MORE complaints.

If this was just a warning to others to not make the same original mistake then I am completely on board and with you. I DO however feel that I can make whatever mule names and linkshell names I want within reason.

Also if you are going to remove some peoples profile comments and not others such as peacekeeper calling someone an elitist *** despite the request to remove it for same said harassment, Another mod will have to be PM'd or scragg through chat. Fair is fair right?

The way I see it in my eyes, If i want to make a mule for $1.00 or spend 6,000 gil in game for a linkshell that is within my FFXI rights that a GM can do nothing about. Then FFXIAH according to the site rules shouldn't have any basis to delete or intervene unless vulgar language, ACTUAL displayed harassment or mimicking avatar or comment with other peoples names unwillingly involved... correct?

I just want clarity out of the situation not to argue petty things.


Nobody brought anything to FFXIAH except the people who felt backed into a corner enough to claim harassment which warranted this post by a moderator. A LOT of people must have been pretty upset.
