Disabling Profanity Filter

You can now disable the profanity filter. You can find the setting here:
http://www.ffxiah.com/account

If you already had the filter off, it should remain off, it's on by default for everyone else. If you still see the censored text you might have to re-login or check the box on the account page.

This feature is long overdue and I apologize for that. I used to have a section to enter your birth date to verify age. I didn't like the idea of collecting/storing birth dates, especially for this reason, so I took it off and will purge that data. Afterwards, there was not a way for newly registered users to toggle the filter.

I noticed most users have been respecting the "no profanity in images" policy and I appreciate that. It's probably hard to understand, especially for newer users since it's all over the web anyway. Thank you to those community members that remind each other when on is posted.
