I haven't been following this thread/expansion much, but what's the sudden craze for Petrified Logs?

 In case this hasn't been found yet... too many threads to check. It might not even be new, but I don't recall seeing it before! Just logged on to bahamut server, there are only 225 people online >.> Its so quiet, no shouts in jeuno... weird.

Hello, I just finished the update, I get myself to the FFXI Online Screen, hit play and get through all that. It checks the POL version and then acts as if it is about to fullscreen, but instead takes me right back to the FFXI Online Screen where the play button is.
Anyone have a solution to this problem, or at least an explanation as to why this is happening? Luckily my wife is leveling WW, so we have tons of Petri logs on mules =)
