So leveling GEO, lets get some observations compiled somewhere. The other thread can deal with finding where Geo- spells are located.

Full Circle recoups some MP used to summon a luopan in addition to dismissing the luopan.

Indi- effects stack.

Spells are directly effected by GEO skill.. I.e at lvl 35 GEO skill regen was 3/tic at 40 it was 4 a tci now im at 140 skill and im getting 14/tic.. Also when u say indi effects stack u mean by multiple geos?

The amount of MP recovered from Full Circle seems to vary depending on the remaining HP of the luopan.

What level GEO are you? Are you wearing any kind of regen gear/Atma/etc? If not, And GEO doesn't have an F in geo skill, that means something must be broken - otherwise, that's 14/tic regen from one PBAoE at level 45 or so. That's an insane regen, making GEO the undisputed healer. If regen continues to be skill/10 through all of the levels, at 99 that's 424 (A+ skill right?) skill so 42.4 hp/tic regen.

im ina abyssea party just hit lvl 99 lol but spamming spells.. So far it has worked out religiously everytime I go up 10 skill points I can a regen tic.. lim at 148 atm and its still 14/tic. so let u know when I hit 150... Honestly tho its not that OP I mean SCH regen V is like 74 hp/tic and they can aoe perpet it.. soo ya.. Not so broken but deff a nice buff.. also take note Geo has 0 healing skill all the healing skill I got atm is from my rdm sub so not so strong cures IIIs and IVs unless there is a healing geo spell idk about...

At 99, true. However, at lower levels (for instance, I do a lot of low level content with friends cause we like old school on occasion) it's pretty crazy. Considering that at 30 your monk might have 800 hp, and he's got way more than anyone else - 10 regen compared to the 3 a Mage can cast is very very strong single target, and its AoE.

so this is weird... 145 GEO skill atm and 146 Handbell. just tested and im alryd getting 15 regen/tic. soo the 10 skill points per tic isn't totally accurate

Well as I said im lvl 99 so I cant test it out at lower lvls.. BUT! so far regen at least has been purely skill based... I will send out another interesting piece of info tho.. Elemental magic does more dmg if the mob is facing that elemental driecton from you like f ur castng fire the mob should be NW of you.. Ice West.. Someone should find that elemental direction compass and post it here.. This needs further testing but im running a parse and seems accurate thus far... Also it would make sense with the cardinal chant job trait

I figure RDM will be our primary sub if were to have a place in endgame.. possibly with phalanx ss and blink we can stand up closer to the melees to indie both them.. refresh and convert are a bonus as well as the magic attack traits... only other sub I can think is SCH OOOOOOORRRRR maybe ls's will find a reason to make us /brd for a song lol...

I guess the only real way to test would be in something like Ballista/Brenner maybe. Or use it on really low level mobs and compare how fast they die.

it deff DOES increase n potency... although I can't tell by what number like I can regen or if it goes up every 10 lvls ect.. but it deff does go up when I was lvling lower lvls I noticed my posion was taking off more % per tic.

If you want to test poison/dot, go to abyssea tah, bring a thf/nin/dnc/mnk and beat on the corse. Normal melee attacks heal it, so you can easily see how much damage the dot is doing.

Also, another observation, though I guess maybe not as important, is that I find that I am more likely to gain skill ups by casting Geo-poison on things than my other spells. I'm assuming it's because it's a monster target spell only.

for those of us on windower im gonna try to go to sea and maybe like geo paralyze goldfish see if I can get skills for that then we can write a windower macro script to repeat it..

just unlocked the job myself, so havent had a chance to try it... but has any1 noticed if geo and indi spells stacks? ie: 2x poison? or for higher levels, has any1 tried GEO regen and indi regen? if you stand in both fields, would it double your regen?

Not sure on regen, but from what we tested a little, poison doesn't look like it stacks.

* Indicolure and geocolure spells causing the same effect do not stack.

Sch sub. We can raise our element magic to a. Our spells may also be stronger with casting weather spells upon ourself first. Then use obi and twilight cape.

Also i wonder if i can use geo ara spells as a sub to aoe skill chain on sch.

Sch jas like dark arts ones maybe useable for our spells as erll. And perhaps geo regan can stack with regen 5. I will test this weekend

Probably in the same manner that BP:Rages for SMN end up in higher skillup rates. I'll have to try that.

Ah a man couple hope eh. This life cycle ability is pretty sweet.
Takes 1/4 of your HP to your Luopan not sure how useful it will be though.
