Any time a BST pet does a Magic Burst, an error pops up from Battlemod. Any idea on a solution for this? :)

First of all, thank you for making battlemod - love the addon.
Quick question: Sometimes while playing solo with my trusts, my log will seemingly out of nowhere stop displaying all entries related to my trusts. I'll go from seeing Ulmia's songs and Cherukiki's spells to only seeing my own swings/casts.
I can only imagine that I did something to cause this. Anyone know what's up?

I can only imagine that I did something to cause this. Anyone know what's up? This was due to a bug in LuaCore. If you re-run the windower launcher it should be fixed.
I will try to do the BST thing tomorrow night.

How the heck do you turn off other party/people's near you Trusts? They are spamming the crap out of me when i'm soloing? It's a nightmare :( It's their casting, not the dmg they are doing from melee or spells. Just the soanso --> spell name then the wave of that spell hitting party members.

/hidetrust on is always on. I don't see them visualy, I just get spammed by their actionsand I cant find any filters for them that work.

Hello everyone!
I'm new to Battlemod and I'm having a small issue with the filters!
I have been trying to filter out the pet dmg/ws for pet's outside my party and only show the pet's dmg/ws for the one inside my party.
the only option I found was under Other_pets (line 145) which shows all pets actions,including the ones outside my party/alliance.
is there a way to fix that?

Bump on the TH message question. Also, is there a way to get BM to show enemy "gains the effect of" and enemy "effect wears off" messages? When I cast Frazzle, for example, I don't see anything that tells me whether or not it landed successfully or if it missed. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi there! First of all, thanks for all your work, the mod is great.
So as of now, I'm getting an error message that is repeatedly popping up:

Something to note, unless "wscol" means both enemy and player ws's, I could not get "mobwscol" to work properly. Enemy ws's simply output the same color as "wscol", so I just changed them both to be the same color anyways. Not a big issue and something I can easily live with, but thought it was worth bringing up.

I have recently been working on my own custom Battlemod filters.xml and I cannot seem to figure out how to enable Alliance damage. I would like to be able to see damage, however not white damage.
I can see actions done by my alliance, such as:
[Name] Blizzard III --> Target
When someone in my party does damage it is like this:
[Name] 1000 Blizzard III --> Target
I would like to get the Alliance damage to show up like the party damage. Also, since I cannot see alliance damage, if someone in my Alliance, but not my party creates a skillchain it does not show up either. My guess is both are fixed by one filter since a skillchain is considered damage.

Small issue: The colortest command is cutting off after 262 and not going all the way to 500+. Not sure why or if I have some conflicting addon.

Hello everyone!
I'm new to Battlemod and I'm having a small issue with the filters!
I have been trying to filter out the pet dmg/ws for pet's outside my party and only show the pet's dmg/ws for the one inside my party.
the only option I found was under Other_pets (line 145) which shows all pets actions,including the ones outside my party/alliance.
is there a way to fix that?

Under Windower4\addons\battlemod\data in the colors.xml there is an entry called <mydmg> changing the number in that entry should change the color for your dmg.

Yeah that was obvious thing I tried but it doesn't work. When I chnaged number for <wscol> or <statuscol> it worked. For <wsdmg> I tried several different colors and none of them works. Color is always the same.
I was able to change color in game using config>font color>for others>Hp/mp others lose , but that changes color of damage dealt by everyone not only me.

I think this was never implemented, so mydmg, partydmg, allydmg and otherdmg tags doesn't work. Maybe I'll try to implement when I get some time.

OH GOD! I CAN SEE FOREVER! - You need to change your filters (battlemod/data/filters/filter-<job>.xml). I have intentionally set it up so that the default filters are all-off because I figure it's worse if you miss messages that you were expecting than if you see things you weren't expecting. See the "Settings Files" part of the Readme below.
In anticipation of a lot of people having problems with this, I have made this thread to answer questions. First, here is the Readme file:

* cancelmulti - Cancles multiple consecutive identical lines, Default = True

* targetnumber - Toggle target number display, Default = True
* colorful - Colors the output by alliance member, Default = True
Purpose: To allow chat log customization.
Installation Instructions (from the Windower 4 Launcher):
* 1 Start your copy of Windower 4 and select the "Addons" menu up top in the Launcher.
* 2 Click the icon next to "Battlemod"
* 3 Log in to the game!
* 4 Alter the settings as you wish. ("//bm colortest" will let you see the color options and )
* 5 If you have changed the settings, you can use "//bm reload" to load them in game.
Settings Files:
The settings files for battlemod are composed of 3 to 25 xml files (depending on how much you like unique filters). XML files can be opened with Notepad, edited, and saved. If you are going to "Save As..." an xml from Notepad, be sure to change "Text Documents (.txt)" to "All Files" file type and make sure the file ends in ".xml"
* data/settings.xml - contains basic flags that control the features of the program.
* data/colors.xml - contains all the color codes relevant to the program, which can be adjusted using colors from the colortext command.
* filters/filters.xml - contains the chat filter settings and is explained more thoroughly therein.
* filters/filters-<job>.xml - Several examples are provided, but these are specific filter files that will load for your individual jobs. You can use this to, for instance, make sure your healing jobs can always see damage taken (by unfiltering the <monsters></monsters> section or make sure your zerg jobs don't have to see the entire alliance's damage spam.
Known Issues:
* Counters, Spikes, and Retaliations are the wrong color for some reason.
* The "__damage" colors don't do anything, but have been left in the settings file for potential future uses.
* Using //bm colortest and then expanding your chat log on small window size clients (640x480) can cause crashes. (Your guess is as good as mine)
* AoE buffs only use the first message response, so if it has no effect on the user then it will appear to have no effect on everyone even if it did.
* The settings files are much larger and more complicated than v1. (Sorry, it's because there's more options)
* This plugin bypasses and renders invalid all chat filters other than its own.
Secondly, Battlemod attempts to re-create every interaction message (event_action) and other battle messages (event_action_message). I have been testing it for two weeks, but I have not done everything and (more importantly) I do not use every job. There are three major probable and unknown errors:
1) Battle text is showing up as say-color. - This means that I did not see the message while testing battlemod.
2) I'm blocking a message that should display. - This could be anything from your Time remaining in Dynamis to your Mandau's Enpoison effect.
3) I'm failing to display something properly. - If you see ${field} in your text, if something is missing, if the spacing is weird, etc.
If you find an error, please tell me:
1) What the exact text was (if possible)
2) What color it should be (Grey, Yellow, etc.) if the color was wrong
3) If there's an error in the console, the exact line number and message.
