Mog Satchel/Security Token Software

So I downloaded the security software onto my phone to get my mog satchel, however the satchel is still not availble. I have someone tell m that it doesn't come with the software token. Can anyone confirm or deny this. It is driving me bonkers.

It doesn't as far as I know. It's just a bonus for the physical token.

SE had to clear that up a few weeks ago but I imagine that's off the main pages feed thing by now.

You need to buy the physical token if you want a satchel. Whether or not you use the physical token is up to you. Basically SE wants more money and they know people will pay it for extra storage space (I did!)

My friend recently bought the special edition for FFXIV for like $15, which came with a security token. At first I was skeptical and assumed it was specifically registered for FFXIV use only, however, it turns out it links to your Square-Enix account, and therefore universally works for either game. So in case SE is sold out of FFXI tokens, you most certainly have the option of seeking out the XIV ones via special editions.
Because 1.0 blundered in sales so badly, you may be able to find a copy pretty cheap.

Okay, thank you everyone for clearing that up for me. I'll just have to buy the real thing. Grrr.
