Desultor Tassets - Barrage +1

How useful is this augment?

I've finishing up RNG, but I also main COR, THF.

I'm set on Phantom Roll for COR, since I'd use the hell out of it, but can't decide between the Barrage +1 or Reducing Waltz TP cost (since I /dnc alot on THF, and sometimes Cor.

Also, I kinda assume that the more Barrage+ would be a diminishing return, i.e., the more shots in a row, the more likely one will miss.

That's correct. Because of the way barrage works (accuracy-wise), the augment will make very little difference in overall DPS.

Desultor will still average higher barrages than any other pants.

According to SE, the r.acc calculation is more forgiving for each subsequent shot of Barrage. You'd be surprised how often it lands full.

It also misses entirely sometimes. :(
