As for guys who are to intimidated to wear designer clothes because of what their buddies might think (regardless if they like wearing them or not), well, insecurity issues there my friend.

My pants I'm wearing now have a large hole in the ***. Safety pins, and a pair of shorts underneath rectify that issue. at least until i get the ***to just sew it back up.
I wear dress clothes when I need to dress nice. It's a matter of necessity man. Oh did I tell you that I actually have fashion designers in my family and could make my own clothes if I wanted to? No I didn't, but seriously man. You say I assume things and that's all you're doing. I don't agree with cookie-cutter American man :/

Your entitled to your own opinion but your pretty much calling Uri an idiot for buying designer clothes like Ralph Lauren etc. I'm jus saying you can't call other people stupid and say they are wasting their monehs just because they don't dress like you. Also I'm intrigued to know why you would not sport a Ralph Lauren shirt? Just because of the price?

because of the price in one had and because of what it represents in the other hand.
regardless of what you say, what you wear represents who you are as a person.
i'd rather buy things for a more reasonable price and build up more money in my bank account and dress up and dress down in accordance to how I see things.
I make enough money to afford all of these things, I just would rather save my money or buy things that get more of a use outside of aesthetics.

How do you think your honestly going to change him like this? So far it's been a weak argument man
How has it been weak?
I was being a bit facetious with my response if you didn't notice.
I have to spell this out because some can't figure out that I'm like that most of the time.
If I had said no would that have satisfied you?

We all subconsciously judge people by their clothes if we don't know 'em. If I see someone in sweats, I'll think "that person seems pretty laid back."

If I see the generic popped collar Polo with shades and jeans on, I'll be like "lol I bet he's a douche."

I'm sure they aren't, but clothes do represent yourself; whether you want it to or not.

You're arguing against human nature. People own vehicles and much more on similar basis, it's not just "why would you do that."
well if you buy an overpriced ***car like a hummer i'm gonna tell you it's an overpriced ***car...don't see where you're going with this...

where are you getting flash car and noisy wreck?
i specifically mentioned hummer.
anyone that buys a hummer is a tard.
now if you buy a muscle car you better have some sort of alternative means of travel because driving a muscle car all year long is stupid too.

Apparently I'm spoiled or poor at financing because I buy expensive clothes. Yet I'm the only person my age I know who has a mortgage and doesn't A rent a shitty apartment, or B live in mommy's basement.

If he has the money to buy it, sure. If you're one of those people who has a luxury car but lives in a shack, you just look ridiculous. I say just don't go around dressed/buying expensive stuff as if you've got cash when you clearly don't. I don't know how far back this conversation has been going, so if this is irrelevant, my bad. :x

I can say that blindly.
If I see someone in a PT cruiser or a Hummer I'm going to think "what an idiot" regardless.
or in the PT cruises case it's either "lol women drivers" or "might as well drive around in a vagina" if it's a guy driving it.

It's no worse than you saying that anyone sporting designer clothes has them paid for by parents or they don't know how to look after their money. It's their money they can spend it on what the *** they want without over judegemental *** labelling them idiots just because they are unable to afford them or too stuck up.
