That's a pet. That's so sad! My lab used to freak out if we were kayaking or canoeing when he was a puppy. My friend and I were rowing out of a cove, and saw something breaking the water. Beaver? Nope! 'Twas my dog's head breaking water! I had to dive overboard, and swim the pup back to shore. He nearly drowned because of his panic! "MY PEOPLE!!! OMG! Where are you going?!?" Love dogs!
