Is it bad that I take some amount of pleasure in the pathetic struggle and eventual failure of some people.. I mean it's not like I wish that on them... but it's just funny to me some of the things people bring up and such... I feel like slapping em half the time and just telling em top shut up and go do it... but instead I sit there and do nothing and watch it all fall down... just like that bridge...

If you extend a hand, it usually gets slapped away anyway. /shrug I try to only offer help to those who ask now, but there is a fair amount of schadenfruede when you do offer, they reject, and then they stumble or worse.

I'm not really talking about helping people all that much lol... other than to slap the ***out of em and look at em like "what the *** man?" shake my head and walk away in hopes of conveying the severe sense of disapointment I'm feeling atm... Mos does it to me frequently...

I think it's easier to make light of stuff rather than get bogged down by it. A guy that used to be a good friend of mine in HS got out of prison, for the second time, & was talking to me about all these big plans he had & my answer was "are you sure you're not gonna get a buzz, a cheeseburger, & a piece of ***, & head right back in there?" I was half-joking, but half not. I think the reality of the situation is just too grim to deal with on in own terms.

And then its the Interior Designers, that want to change the already custom milled paint grade wood base within a 18 story apartment building, to something fancier, bigger, and change material. So of course, I price it, upon their request, comes up to be extra $12k in additional labor to install/stock/handle the material and additional cost for more expensive material.....then to be told to try something else less expensive that we would recommend, repeat my process of getting new quotes again for new material, then hand them it over an additional cost to our contract of $8k, then all for htem to just say...."we will stick with what you have in your contract instead" /eye twitch....... Mos and Zah, don't ever be surprised if you hear some VA/MD person on news that snapped and bludgeoned to death an Architect/Interior Designer.......

I *** hate interior designers with a GOD DAMN PASSION!!! I don't even see why that's a career! I can do that standing on my head! "Durr 3 1/4 inch orange and blue tile four the backsplash of an elementary art room!" Just that easy! OMG! Complementary colors is so hard! Yes, they always under or overstock rather than reading the aesthetic plan. If I have to accommodate something practical like an HVAC or electrical measurement oversight, that's fine! If I get a request for a revision for maybe a foot and a half oversight, on something purely aesthetic, yeah...the INT and MIL contractor can duke it out for all I care! FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT! Ugh...I need to see if I can dig up the old plans for this elementary school that was a cluster-*** to end all cluster-*** for you. The worst part of it is that they were building for the expected populous that would be moving to that area because of the trans-Canadian natural gas pipeline. UGH! I just...Yeah...They basically blew their load without the finances to back it up! And then there was the runaway bride sub! Not only did this guy fold in TX, but before that, this company hit the wall in CA! (*** CA refugees!) He mysteriously disappeared ten months after construction was underway after they had already been paid, so the GC was threatening a lawsuit. The project came to a halt until the GC could regroup and rehire. Guess where this sub was found! Louisiana! That was like two and a half years ago. There's so much more about this project. I don't even think I could go into it all. The INT on this too! I wanted to slap a *** when I met her. WHY IS THAT A LEGITIMATE CAREER?!? /rant
