They're cheaply built though, and trees are really sparse. Mine is 4bed2bath outside of city limits, 5 years ago I paid a hair under 150K. it's nice. you're not way off base, just breakin' ..... ovaries?

All this talking about houses makes me more eager to unload this one. Apparently, while we were gone, we had six viewings during the week after our open house. Come on, realtor! Do that voo-doo that you do, so we can spread out a little more. I NEED MORE STORAGE!!!
It does kind of suck that the counties I'm looking at, I'll have to register and my vote will basically go in the trash unless it's local matters. We have a gubernatorial race coming up, and if we thought Perry was bad...OH GOD! ABBOTT!! SMH It's going to get bad!

Having the right realtor really makes a difference too... My parents had been trying to sell their house for 2 years off and on and then they gave the listing to a new realtor and it was off the market in a month...

We're using one of the BF's buddies' wives. His mother is also a realtor in Houston, so she gave us the "referral". Which means, that she'll be giving her cut of the "referral" back to us. I'm optimistic about our realtor's skills!

I keep looking at apartments to rent in my area for when I graduate next year. Everything's WAY out of price range, unfortunately, and it's annoying me an awful lot.
3.5k for a 2br? :(
