Yeah. A Bucket of Rocks was a big thing all over the western side of the state. My parents used to serve them when they owned a restaurant in the 80s and that was up on the Kinzua Reservoir.

But yeah, they stopped making Rolling Rock in Latrobe in 2006 (per Wikipedia, the final batch of Rolling Rock was shipped from Latrobe on July 31, 2006).

You could smoke inside around here for several years after they stopped making RR in Latrobe. =\

that sucks hobo ***...

that was my special treat to myself for having to go to penisylvania... they had those bucket specials / holidomes all over the place... where else did I do that?.... Uniontown!

Going to Uniontown deserves more than just beer. If your experience with Pennsylvania is largely centered on Uniontown, I don't blame you for avoid the state.

Fayette County is called "Fayettenam" for a reason.

It'd be "Yoon-yin-taahn".

Edit: I don't speak like this. For better or worse, I sound vaguely Canadian.

Spent my formative years in the Buffalo sphere of influence with most of my mother's family from there. Canada's just on the other side of that there Peace Bridge.

lol I get to travel to all the best towns... which is why I always pack extra whiskey and cigars...

cities, like louisville or kansas city or every other look alike midwestern city, usually have a yuppie section...

but the towns only have one section...

man do I hate river towns... and those old canal towns that haven't seen a job since 1892...

why don't they just burn those *** down to the water line and get it over with...

PARKER! gasoline prices are falling and I have a fiendish idea!

From The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, by Douglas Adams:

Quote:
"That," he said, "that... is really bad for the eyes."

It was a ship of classic, simple design, like a flattened salmon, twenty yards long, very clean, very sleek. There was just one remarkable thing about it.

"It's so... black!" said Ford Prefect. "You can hardly make out its shape... light just seems to fall into it!"

The blackness of it was so extreme that it was almost impossible to tell how close you were standing to it.

"Your eyes just slide off it..." said Ford in wonder.

Scragg: Anna, are you keeping tabs on the current activity in RT?

AnnaMolly: Yes, they're talking about potatoes, anime, Pokemon, and porn at the moment.

Scragg: I see, very interesting. Contact me when they start discussing croutons and coffee.

AnnaMolly: Understood.

The other night I was digging through my night stand and found the last round I have in .45-70 Govt which is for my Encore pistol so I figured "Hey, I'm gonna fire this off for New Years."

So I get the pistol out of my brother's safe and bring it home yesterday. I bought this (and last fired it) when I was about 17. Now at 25 my hands are as grown as they are gonna get and I have to say, while heavy this gun is the most comfortable pistol I've ever held; my trigger finger reaches the trigger with just the tip which is good for accuracy (pulling with too much finger pulls the gun to the side). The trigger is also perfect for me with no modification.

Anyone who knows anything about sporting guns knows the Encore and it's smaller predecessor, the Contender. The Encore is capable of swapping barrels; from pistol to rifle to shotgun and back. The only barrel I have is a factory (now discontinued) 15" chambered in .45-70 Govt which is a semi-obsolete military round. Rounds are hard to find and expensive not to mention lacking in variety.

So I'm thinking of getting an aftermarket 8" barrel chambered in .357 Magnum. I love the round; it's relatively affordable and easy to find, anywhere from Walmart to Cabela's, hell ***'s Sporting goods sells them and they don't hardly have any ammo.

Only issue is I'm not sure if the company will put iron sights on the barrel if requested; the usually just do scope rails.

Should look like this with a few differences when done; mine is blued (blackened metal) with Walnut grip and forestock. Additionally the barrels pictured are 7-3/4" so mine would be 1/4" longer.

EDIT: If you're wondering why I bought it in the first place, my brother had just bought a S&W Model 500 in .500 S&W, his has rubberized cushion grips and a compensator of the end of the barrel. I kinda set out to get a big bore pistol that looked more 'classic' than the new S&W he got. Another thing I liked was without the cushion-grips and compensator, most say mine kicks harder.
