By and far, people usually respect leaving a half-hour time open somewhere between 1100 and 1300 (the hours for the cafeteria). If someone thinks their meeting is important enough to necessitate me being there rather than having lunch, I'll usually insist that they either put an order in for food to be brought, or live with me being late and bringing a plate of food with me. But when things get stupidly busy, people don't pay quite as much attention to those things.

Back when I played XI, I used to mess with my LS a lot. I'd make up a name like Luster Busket and put in LS chat "Luster Busket {Found it!}" to which my LS would be asking "What is that??" "Where is it??" "What does it drop??" "New NM?" after a few minutes I'd say "OMG! Drop!!" then I'd AFK leaving them wondering for 45 mins to a hour.

To be fair, I don't WC near often enough. I thought it was a british thing when someone typed it at me in FFXI a billion years ago.
I was terrible with abbreviations / acronyms from refusing to participate in text messaging for all those years. I literally typed to someone in a dunes party "What the *** does wtf mean?"
