Used games ftw!

Screw the PS3...imo doesn't have enough PS3 only games for me to want one.

DSLite will have a ton of games you'd want.

@Urial- How many people have A-Hands on their wishlist?

Used games save a TON of money. And I always enjoy the new games that are down to 9.99.

I want the PS3 for completion. Besides it, Sega Saturn, and a couple handhelds, I have everything from Nintendo up I think.

Except... It has a lot of functionality with the PSP being able to link to it, the built-in Blu-Ray player, backwards compatibility with PS1/PS2 games, etc. That means that I don't have to buy a Blu-Ray player and I can leave my PS2 at my family's house for my sister.

Also! If you don't have one, let me know when you're ordering. I have this card someone got me a few months back that gets another 10% off used games and accessories. No consoles though, sorry.

I keep getting those cards, but they keep expiring >_< I stopped getting them a while back. I'll probably go in and pick up something small and get another ($10 for card). then do a bigger purchase of multiple used games.

It pays for itself if you read Game Informer since you get the year subscription with it. :P

Yeah. I don't read them unless something on the cover catches my attention. I have a shoe box that I would toss them in when they came in the mail.

Brother bought me a blu-ray player for a wedding/house warming gift. I sold all my PS2 stuff so I have nothing for backwards compatibility. PSP deal is ok, but doesn't add more note-worthy functions to the PSP.

With all the games on my wishlist, it'd total $406.53. But that's with all the games up to 12/31/10.

Just some stuff that caught my eye that I'd play, not necessarily purchase.

Press Your Luck 2010 Edition - Wii
Dragon Ball: Raging Blast - 360
New Super Mario Bros Wii - Wii
Assassin's Creed II - 360
FFXIII - 360
[b]Halo: Reach[/] - 360
Diablo III - PC

They better do that ***justice...because the book was amazing.

You should know by now:
1. People don't read
2. Halo is all about the multiplayer

Screw that odst didnt bring much of anything to multi player except firefight which gets old after a while(not worth $60 just for that IMO). Also i think halo's storyline up until ODST were actually well done and went along with the books very well(since i havent finished odst it may still go along very well i just dont know yet). But yes alot of people don't read....but its still a very good book series in the aspect of how much it allows you to further understand halo.

I'm sorry your brother wasted a lot of money? lol I'm just saying those are my reasons for wanting one in 'addition' to the games coming out for it that are either exclusive or cross-platform.

So the ODSTs kept earth from total takeover? All I got out of the story was a rookie ODST looking for his squad.

ODST's did nothing to save New Mombasa. Earth wasn't well defended enough to stop an entire covenant fleet like that until they got support a few days later (See:Halo 3). What the entire point of ODST was, was Virgil. New Mombasa's Superintendant AI. It was uploaded into an Engineer, hence the last level of guarding it. For some odd reason, the Engeneer knew a lot of Covenant secrets that were "key to turning the tide of war". I'm assuming that's how in Halo 3, Johnson and the female captain knew where to find the Cartographer and the Ark and all that other jazz.

Well, it's supposed to be tuna. Unfortunately I don't know how well I'll be able to resist the spaghetti smell.

Are you coming tonight for Dyna-windy?

---

The list is up to $1,688.56 now. A lot of them are games that just look interesting. If I created a 'serious' wishlist it would be smaller (but still have the PS3, PSPGo, and DS).

Lucky. I need to find the pork loin recipe that I liked so much. It was frickin' delicious. Ex-wife used to make it so I'm not sure where the recipe is right now.

It's a toss up between mac and cheese or honey turkey and swiss with mayo, don't have any of that other fancy stuff.

If I'm really hungry before dynamis I'll make some tuna helper.

Tuna helper just doesn't sound good to me. I'll stick with my hamburger helper.

Also keep in mind that I'm making up for not being able to buy many games over the last two years.

My monthly expenses are going to nearly halve starting in novemeber. That's ~$1.5k a month that will free up.
