I like their Cherries & Cream or whatever it was. Used to get a 6-pack of it for deer season but our usual old ma & pa gas stop closed down.

Back when A&W was a restaurant, the best part was getting freshly made root beer. I prefer other flavors, but when you're at A&W, you gotta partake. Besides, the food was crappy as hell, so it wasn't really like you had a choice anyway.

They'd be playing Grunge, there would be a lot of coffee, the decor would be flannel and at the tables they would have pogs to let you pass the time until your food arrived. Of course, the food would invariably be a combination pizza and sandwich shop, and each one would have 90's names like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle anchovy pizza or the Eddie Vedder Big Beef and Cheddar.
