I make pickled carrots using a spicey sweet style brine rather than dill. You can leave out the habanero peppers if you don't like a lot of heat, but I love these things. They are great for a snack, or on a sammich, or added to stirfry or ramen noodles right at the end of cooking.

I use okra which acts as a bit of a thickener. The one I made with carrots was duck & sausage but I usually make chicken & sausage, shrimp & sausage, or all three.

The juicer pulp can be boiled and strained to make a nutritious broth. The strained pulp is high in fiber and can be used in making muffins/bread. Anything left over can be used in compost. Nothing has to go to waste. /throws the carrot juice on the ground

I survived eating various questionably prepared grilled meats at the macedonian festival... dear drunken chain smoking grill masters, never taking the gloves off after you prepare raw meat and/or to do things like chain smoke and scratch yourself is the same thing as never putting them on in the first place.... thanks, everyone
my six month old goddaughter thought it was the best party ever. she was yelling with the band like "I know the words to this song!!!..." AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! she squealed and giggled with delight and yelled for about two hours while I danced around with her. it was the best day ever.

 Went to dallas for friend's party ~ had tons of fun but some people ended up throwing up in the limo so we had to take them back to the hotel as they weren't feeling good enough to continue. While i was up there i got to sell my warhammer 40k stuff to a friend. So yay travel and drink expenses covered xD
