My parents kinda let me do whatever I wanted at the cabin too, I had a knife/axe/bow&arrow to mess around with from a very early age and I could take the canoe out on the lake and go w/e I wanted, it was fine. As long as I was careful it wasn't a problem.
My sister was kinda dumb and cut herself in the leg with an axe though lol, it slipped when she was using it and hit her below the knee. My mom had to stitch her up

Parents let their kids make mistakes, in a controlled way (with them on hand), so they can learn from the process.
One of the parks near us has a few herds of deer. Even during mating season people are allowed to go in and interact with the animals. Mil and I have watched parents tell their kids (usually boys) to 'pas på' next to the bucks, but some kids don't listen.
The bucks chase them, and the parents wait for the kids to run faster.
Learn from your mistakes.

Teacher (when I was 9-12ish, can't remember) would let us go into the gym (after school) and make our own obstacle course and we'd connect benches to this wooden beam you hang/climb on that you can lower/raise and we'd jump off it lol, we'd set it pretty high and do flips onto the mat

It's great that tumbling is provided in preschool/kidergarten there. We have to enroll for tumbling classes separately. I was thinking of putting the big one in next Fall. We also have a soccer camp, which is a six week session where they mostly do dribbling drills/cone drills/monkey in the middle. I want to see what he's most interested in or if he wants to do both in the Fall.
The Austin preserve is more like the European style "tierpark" than a traditional, American zoo. (There's a super neurotic brown bear that I always feel sorry for, though.)

Lukas gets a kick out of standing feet to feet while I lay back and hoist him in the air standing, but he gets a little too foolhardy and tries to jump. He usually lands on me in some way, but better me than crashing into the hard furniture or hearth.

O yeah, we end up in various forms off wrestling / throwing / tickling constantly. the kid is a force of nature. 5:30am yesterday, he comes roaring out of this room with a battlecry and proceeds to headbutt my thigh three times. this is how he acts 15 secs after being awake, and doesn't slow down much until nap time / bed time.
I'm going to have to start working out again, or he's going to be kicking my *** in like 5 years.

Krizz is just social and likes to kill time here during work Tbest is about the same, except tends to be a douche to guys and affectionate toward girls.
Alyria is the most social female, gets groped a lot without provoking it by others, and Tairo ends up stabbing people for it. Cai is just a barrel of lols, I might be gay for him. If I wasn't straight.
Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
