when i was reading the news story it said that the actress who played ray's wife was the person who confirmed the story. i feel horrible because i imagined them calling her and going "DEEEBRAAA IS THE DEAD?". damn you everbody loves raymond ._.

Now that I think of it, I learned who Jeffery Dahmer (sp?) was while playing Barbies with the neighbor across the street. That was a "Duhhh...What?" moment.
