Im relatively computer illiterate, so I need to know what to upgrade to make this run smoother. Copy Pasting from System Specs:

OS: Windows 8 64x bit
Processor: AMD FX-6120 Six-Core Processor 3.50 GHz
Installed Memory (RAM): 10 GB (9.79 usable)
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7450
Disk Space: 910 GB

It lags badly and can't figure out why. Graphics card needs an update maybe? IF so, which would be a good, relatively cheap (80-100$) upgrade?

CPU and Memory is good, its more then likely the GPU. Check out Newegg.com and microcenter.com They usually have the best prices. Reasearch online and check out the min req specs for 14 on SE's site. Good Luck!

Edit: I'm using a NVIDIA GTX 660 Overclocked and it runs the game great. I paid around $175 for it though. You might want to check out the offical benchmark. That should tell you a score. Anything over 5000 should run smooth.(I scored 12000 with a lesser CPU then you)

Better then my first benchmark run XD got 305 with an integrated intel graphics chip. Needless to say the GPU was the issue :D

someone mentioned you can uncapp the FPS, and you will get way better numbers. might be a bug with how the game handles things, especially with so many people onm screen at once. give that a shot, if not, it's just too many people around killing your frames

I some times get bad lag but I do think its all down to launch week, the influx of players and servers. It should all clear up next week

Sorry to hijack, but would this:

be able to run 14 smoothly? Not familiar enough with building PCs, would rather buy one that was an all-in-one package.

It will run it, surely. The 650 card might allow it to run smoothly, but you'll probably have to turn a few things off/ down. A 660 card will definitely run smoothly with everything turned up to the max settings (unsure what your fps would end up at that way, but certainly very usable) for the time being. They are planning on upgrading to DirectX 11 in spring, which shouldn't make anybody's experience worse or anything, but it will probably add new effects and higher maximums for certain things.

Please be advised that I play games with graphics settings tuned up as high as possible while capping frame rate (V-sync) at 30 (or 60 if possible). I get the feeling that others find this unacceptable for one reason or another, but to me a smooth 30 fps is perfectly fine (especially for an MMO) and more than 60 is silly with a 60 Hz monitor, though there are technical reasons to try for it on fast paced games.

if I end up at 30fps I'd be happy, think that computer is capable? I'm already in the process of returning 1 computer because it ran at 12 fps with everything dumbed down, but it had an integrated Amd 7470 which I found out is terrible lol.

as said in your other post that pc needs a bigger psu, 350w's just wont cut it. as for it running 30fps, im running a gts450 on an older amd quad and with medium ish settings i average 45fps. you no longer need a monster pc to play this game. just need a monster pc to max it

Thanks Moon, I got a computer with an AMD 7470 integrated card and it only runs at 12 fps, idk what to do at this point because I honestly have no idea what I'm looking for. I'm returning that computer and am going to try for one that is better. So if you have any advice on what I should look for in a pc when buying it please let me know.
