That's pretty much my set
With a few small differences.
I go with da+10 on the Cape
And use shetal + suppa.
Thanks to this I can use the same cape even when I'm single wielding.

Also I use hetairoi + petrov and the vanir battery in my low acc set. Swap to amar cluster and double chirich +1
Either way we're talking about very small differences I'm afraid.

This is what I'm currently using on geo for melee and WS:

Melee DW
ItemSet 384067

For Single Wield: Ammurapi shield
Cape Augs:
DEX + Acc/Atk + Acc + DW (Double Attack for SW cape)
Nyame Path: B

Need: gazu bracelet +1 Huge Acc piece, great haste, can swap out goading belt if you use.
Black Halo || Flash Nova
ItemSet 384068 ItemSet 384069

Note: Can only pick one of Karieyh ring +1 or Weatherspoon ring +1 even though I've listed both here.
Cape Augs: STR or MND + Acc/Atk + WSD

Note: Can only pick one of Karieyh ring +1 or Weatherspoon ring +1 even though I've listed both here.
Cape Augs: MND + Macc/MDMG + WSD
Possible Alt: cohort cloak +1 Not sure if the huge matk advantage makes this better or not.

Thought: If the cloak ends up strong, fully augmented Agwu's might be really good for this WS.

Improvements: Orpheus's sash all the time, hachirin-no-obi in Light Day/Weather

I've been meleeing a lot on ML in promyvion, and with my current sets I've needed 2x madrigal, honor march, and indi-precision to have capped acc with Grape Daifuku. Dropping precision for either fury or barrier drops my melee acc down to about 60%. gazu bracelet +1 would go a long way toward allowing the loss of one source of acc.

I don't have access to Nyame quite yet, what would be the next step down from Nyame for a TP set?

I refarmed Goading Belt after tossing it a long long time ago, wasn't easy.

All jobs 5% Haste for midcast stuff and also 5 STP belt makes it good to have in my wardrobe.

For a Geo Stun set, should i focus on capping fast cast, high magic accuracy, with some dark magic skill? Or do i need a mix of all of that? getting resists on Zerde alot. If someone could share their set i would appreciate it.

Could someone provide me with a modern Luopan -dt set. Also, are there any pieces of gear that bypass the normal pet -dt limit? I’m building geo here and so far I’ve got my cape and +2 neck but I don’t know what else I should be aiming for. I still have a few months of coalitions before I can start idris, but sets for both with and without it are fine. I will be getting one when I get a chance.

It's still the same set, they haven't added anything to alter the pet:dt set, still stuck with telchine

(Nyame body replaces Shamash, if the refresh is of no value)

I strongly suggest that you just build an Idris. Immediately removes pretty much any need for PetDT augments, making room for personal DT, Refresh, or PetRegen. Pairing Idris with AF+3 hands means your PetDT is done. No Idris means finding 25% more in other places, and again that is going to either make you less safe, hurt your idling MP, or limit pet Regen you can add.

In particular when you start factoring how cheap HP Bayld is these days, and that afterglowing/RP'ing of an Idris, while nice, is far from needed, and outside of the coalition climb it really isn't that bad these days.

Guess I'm too late to answer. Ya the same. Not going to be able to use non-telchine w/o idris unless you just assume your luopan's just going to die constantly.
pdt-46 mdt-40 pet regen+30 pet dt-87.5
ItemSet 363367
solsticeD: Macc+20, Pet: DT-4%, FC+5 (for the pet DT-0.5% to cap if you prefer)
telchine= pet regen+3, pet dt-4
back= pet regen+15
*edit optimized the set a bit. hike head really helps a non-idris or non-shamash geo a ***TON.

Other news: It's possible for pet regen+27, pdt-49 & pet dt-87.5 at the same time w/ room to improve to cap pdt-50 when r30 is unlocked.
ItemSet 363369
hands= pet regen+3, pet dt-4
back= pet regen+15

I personally use this:

ItemSet 384327

All items max augmented, body and legs with meva +24 and pet regen +3 each, back with pet regen +15.

This will net you 50 PDT, 21 MDT (capped with Shell V), 38 pet DT (capped 87.5% for luopan), and 27 Pet Regen.

An alternate option if you don't have Shamash mostly.

odamn, didn't realize that head actually became useful. well then, my set's changing.
Kind of sucks that it's a head slot as I expect the empy+3 to be some nice regen, oh well.

edit: ugh, so much pdt but not enough mdt or dt. I can see why you mention it being the set if you don't have shamash now.

Yeah, Empy +3 hype! If/when that happens there will be adjustments for sure.

Is extra luopan HP from relic hat +3 not valuable enough to use it instead?

I neglected to mention that the relic hat +3 is being used until luopan HP dips down below the point of usefulness, to which it swaps to that set with the Hike Khat +1.

Thanks for mentioning!

In theory that literally never happens. The +2 neck could always heal it back up to relic+3 max

Sure, but then we're gambling on the chance of +2 neck proccing.

If its a long fight, I'd personally rather not sacrifice the pet regen to keep master DT and MEVA high while using Relic +3 head.

If its a short fight (or a fight with a phase that could potentially one-shot the luopan) I'm using Dematerialize anyway. The chance of your luopan dropping from lack of pet regen to offset it is the bigger concern then.

Personally I use this set, if I recall

ItemSet 363314

Should maximize Player DT, Pet DT, add some refresh and some pet regen too.
Will get better once Empy+3 is out, also as much Meva as I could with my current options.

The nice part is that I didn't have to give up the +2 neck, so the Luopan still get healed a lot by the 10% proc.

Obviously it's going to be situational but +600 max HP is more optimal than 3 regen.

Think about it, it takes 200 tics to get 600 hp, and HP+ is essentially more DT- (100 damage at 1680 vs 100 damage at 2280 is 6% of max hp vs 4% of max hp so it's equivalent to 2% DT) As long as you leave on the neck (you will) the max HP is better than the regen.

It should be hit more than 10 times in 10 minutes(200 tics) so 100% of the time the 600HP represents better value.

Of course unless there are no aoes, or the bubble is relocated excessively, then regen

(just in a piece vs piece relic+3 vs empyrean+1)
((And more HP MND Meva Def MBD))
(((um achully paragraph that I'm not going to read)))

Sure for those just using Empy head +1 and who have Shamash, I agree with your argument. For my current set, it feels like too much is lost to full-time Relic +3 head.

Also, I like that the Shamash sets presented hit 100+ Resist Silence, do wish I had one!

You lose nothing(gil cause the relic+3 is over priced.....but you already have it) and gain better defensive stats.

But you're not dying either way and there is zero change in kill success or speed so it's largely irrelevant.

Your set is over the pet DT cap so you can lose the head. (if your telchines have the DT max augs)

You can run the same set as them just with Nyame body instead of shamash.

Throwing this out there:

I'm pretty sure a wide margin of end game Geos already know this but it got asked in one of my end game shells tonight so I figured I post it here too.

Bagua Galero +2 adds 500 HP and Bagua Galero +3 600 HP to your luopan and if you casted it with the hat on it starts with the bonus HP already.

Blaze of Glory does use the new HP to calculate how much to reduce your luopans HP to. So if you want to take it off right after casting the luapan that's fine and your luopan would be starting with 90.83% or 95% HPP depending on +2/+3. Those numbers are for if you have the 20 BoG JPs btw.

I did some testing to verify this. It works but after looking into it more, you probably don't want to do this. The HP loss/tick scales when you use the Galero +2/3 on your Geomancy midcast. You end up with -7~8 more HP loss per tick on your Luopan.

It's only really a concern without the +2 R15 neck fully healing 10% of the time

The heal will easily outpace the dot and the pet:regen is still higher than the dot

Nah, my Telchine is enhancing duration +10% back from when I needed to conserve wardrobe space. I may look into making new ones with pet DT eventually but hardly a major concern at the moment.

some i just tested as M.GEO26.
no hat, neck: -19/tick
no hat, no neck: -24/tick
hat, neck: -27/tick
hat, no neck: -34/tick

hat=bagua galero +3
neck=bagua charm +2 r25
tested outside rabao.

I would not suggest using bagua hat in midcast, it's just too detrimental to keeping the luopan out. Still a great option though for idle to get bigger absorbs.
