They put them all into the PC while they were stuck in Red's house. Didn't read chat enough to know if it was intentional or not but I could see them doing it just to make the battle process a bit smoother.

I think the major reason was to get rid of the flute so we'd stop giving the enemy so many free turns.

After we aaaaalmost got the first boulder onto the switch but *** it up right at the end, I went to take a shower. I come back and wtffff we're already at the next part!! :O!

Edit: Abba Jesus got rid of the useless Whirlwind and learned Sky Attack!! :D

Of course, if you are going to beat an ice-type trainer, you don't rely on your two (and only) pokemon to be the flying type.....
