Switching from the first set to the second is a 2~% increase in attacks per round at the cost of 119 stats. Probably not a great deal for current content.

I still get this set coming out ahead of others:ItemSet 323272

There are a few advantages to your set, though. If you can get 2% double attack on both Cizin pieces, the difference in damage is miniscule. It also frees up Xaddi for an accuracy/PDT hybrid (path B). I'm not sure if GearSwap's augment system is currently working, so that's nice.

You can embed your item sets by using [itemset] [/itemset ] - the space on the end. And putting the set number inside the tags.

http://www.ffxiah.com/item-sets/323264 See the number on the end? That's the set number.

Doing this make it much easier to see your sets, and to compare multiple sets. This makes the chances of someone actually looking at said sets, and perhaps saying something helpful, much higher.

24% Haste from gear, 1% from ionis. Probably a few decimal points under the cap. Cetl belt caps haste outside of Adoulin.

The 5-hit issue is trickier. I think I've posted something similar before, but X-hits in general are tricky. Ignoring multi-attacks, over-TP, conserve TP, save TP, and Stardiver's FTP bonus, you'd expect a graph of your damage with respect to store TP to be a very sharp step function where jumping from a 6-hit to a 5-hit produced a 20% increase in damage. If you take those things into account, though, the jumps in damage shrink and the step function starts to get closer to a steady slope. I got this when I tried to graph the damage as a function of store TP for the appropriate levels of multi-attack:

There is a jump between 35 store TP (19.9 TP/hit) and 38 store TP (20.3 TP/hit), but it's not as large as 20%. From there it's a number game and Motenten's spreadsheets take over.

If you get a different result when you plug the sets into the spreadsheets, let me know. Xaddi gloves are path C, the rest is path A.

Capped gear haste = 256/1024.

Haste values
Otomi 81/1024
Xaddi body 30/1024
Xaddi hands 40/1024
Xaddi legs 51/1024
Mikinaak feet 40/1024

242/1024

Ionis 12/1024

242+12=254

So yes, you are an tiny bit under haste capped with Ionis. But Windbuffet still wins over going to cetl to cap haste. If only by like 0.018 dps. <,<

I plugged these sets into the DPS sheet. This comparison assumes acc capped via buffs. If that's not the case, then results will vary.

Alex1:668.065
Alex2:648.210
Alex3:650.419
Vow: 675.450

Slight improvement could be made by using this:

Upukirex
Bloodrain
Ginsen
Otomi
Ganesha
Bladeborn
Steelflash
Xaddi R15 A
Cizin+1DA+2
Rajas
K'ayres
Atheling
Cetl
Cizin+1DA+2
Mikinaak R15 Str

DPS:682.193

However, should acc uncap, then vow's set would pull ahead of this.

Going to Tripudio/brutal drops 2 dps. Then changing feet to ejekamal drops dps by 20. Basically, you lose one stp(and a ton of atk), but at a rather critical point. Losing that 1 stp puts you out of reach of even a pseudo-5hit.

You're right, I wasn't paying attention to the STP totals in the above set.

Haven't gotten around to doing new delve yet, been busy irl but how does this set you posted:

Quote:
Upukirex
Bloodrain
Ginsen
Otomi
Ganesha
Bladeborn
Steelflash
Xaddi R15 A
Cizin+1DA+2
Rajas
K'ayres
Atheling
Cetl
Cizin+1DA+2
Mikinaak R15 Str

DPS:682.193

compare to my current set:
Gungnir
Duplus
Ginsen
Otomi
Ganesha
Bladeborn
Steelflash
Enif Corazza
Lancer+2 Hands
Rajas
K'ayres
Atheling
Cetl Belt
Cizin +2DA
Ejekamal boots

I have a +2DA Cizin Hands on standby(mostly a Jump Piece) but the extra 2% DA from Lancer's pushed it ahead of Cizin). The primary flaw of this set is relying on a non ilvl body/hands which results in a loss of like 20-40 STR/DEX which probably negatively impacts my acc, though Gungnir's +40 acc as well as the large acc from other pieces probably counteract that. But just assuming capped acc for a moment, what would the DPS look like?

I have your Gungnir set at 640.371 DPS. With the quoted set being at 669.162(after changing wep to Gungnir.)

btw, the acc difference between those two sets(incl. dex acc) is only 13 points, in favor of the quoted set.

So 5 hit wins now? lol. Like 2 months I had an excellent 5 hit set then someone posted a 6hit set stressing multihits that beat the leading 5 hit. Oh well time to get that body and readjust jump sets :/

What I don't understand is, this set comes out to 19.8% TP per hit, if it's not a 5 hit, what's the point of superfluous STP like Bloodrain Strap? After 5 hits without a prior Stardiver, you'll have 99% TP. Unless you have 20ish TP return from Stardiver dunno how this set works in reality. Are you WSing in Ginsen, Brutal, Rajas Ring and Yoaytl Helm or something?

If you WS with Mikinaak Feet, Rajas Ring(lose 2 STR) Brutal Earring, Bloodrain Strap and Ginsen, you'll get 20.9% TP return on a 4 hit Stardiver which leaves you with exactly 100.1% TP from Stardiver and 4 regular swings afterwards. Problem with this is about 25-30ish% of the time you're going to miss a hit of Stardiver and you'll wind up after 4 hits with 99% TP or so.

Wearing Xaddi Legs RankA solves this completely however.
(I wish RankC legs gave the same path as hands STP and DA)

The spreadsheet accounts for things like conserve TP(and any proc at all will do when you only need 1 tp), average hits landed on ws(Multi-hit procs included)etc. Even if you're not quite a perfect 5hit, it'll make it most of the time.

As for WS sets, no one posted one, so I just used my stardiver set. Which I haven't optimized that heavily. Cause, stardiver, who cares.

Said stardiver set.
Thew Bomblet
Otomi
Gorget
Moonshade AttTP
Brutal
Vishap +1
Mikinaak R15 Str
Rajas
Pyrosoul
Buquwik
Ele.Belt
Cizin+1DA+2
Mikinaak R15 Str

But by all means, use Xaddi legs. Less random factor than getting +2 DA on cizin+1. Better for high acc sets. And it's all of 2 dps loss.

Personally, I like having a perfect hit build. But it isn't always the best DPS option.

Btw how many of you actually gotten ginsen? I've done the bcnm with pickups and seem to only win when we get a cheat brd for extra songs preflight(dds being 3 oatixur mnks usually) first 70% of his hp goes down fast in 3min the last 30% goes slow and cosmic elucidation is doing 1500-1600 unless i drop a madrigal in favor of a scherzo. Hell even when I win, if even it drops most people seacom it anyway since the fight only drops a bow and the ammo and let's face it, delve bow is better. Never gonna get that freakin coin.

Why are you getting Elucidation'd? With 3 DD bouncing hate, he should never finish a skillchain.

Anyway, No luck on ginsen here either. I've seen it drop once, and I didn't get it.

He finishes the sc no matter what even if shadows absorb the ws. Technically it's not even a sc cuz it says "tenzen readies CE" after his last ws it seems.

You kinda missed the point. It's not that the shadows that prevent the SC. It's that each WS of the SC ends up being on a different target, so it doesn't skill chain. At least, this is what tends to happen when all your DD are hate capping.

Not sure. I just go brd and get 3 119 mnks, they should be hate capped idk why they wouldn't be after HF. I'll just have to drop a madrigal and give them scherzo, hey get hunters roll so should be fine with acc i tthink
