It's pretty slow for politics once people start announcing they are running thought it will pick up.

I want to know why no one said anything about Clinton using her personal email until right now. I mean... she's been in contact with both democrats and republicans via email during her time as secretary of state so they all knew about it. Why did no one on either side make a stink about it until right now?
Oh yeah... no one was worried about it until the presidential election started coming around the bend. Nobody made a fuss about it because it was expected that she turn over her personal emails regarding government business to the State Department for record keeping. Which she never did.
AP was the one who sued under Freedom of Information regulations.
And for some reason, this was posted in the wrong thread. So what you're saying is that no one in government really cared that she used her personal email then?
I'm with you on her turning them over and even more so when I heard that her staff deleted about 5,000 emails that they deemed personal only in nature. Personally I don't know what the requirements were on her turning them over yet. Did she exceed the allowed amount of time? Was the state department calling for the correspondence and she was ignoring em?
However she hasn't only been criticized for not turning them over already. It's been a lot about her using it in the first place. They've even claim she has not only broken the state department rules by doing so but the law as well.
People knew about this on both sides for a long time and did nothing. So as much as I disagree with her using personal email for government work I'm not all that concerned with breaches.
Edit: If she broke a law though it should be pretty easy at this point to show what law she broke, how she broke it and then mete out the deserving punishment. I don't think anyone is denying that she didn't hand em over til right now.
For me the bigger issue is how do we know she turned over all of them? How can we hold any government official accountbale for only using their .gov account at all times for business. Whats to say any of them didn't send out an email over another account for whatever reason they might have? Do we have anything in place now to prevent that?

NYT said: Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s supreme leader, said the letter warning that any nuclear deal could be scrapped by a new president was “a sign of a decline in political ethics and the destruction of the American establishment from within.” The statement was posted on his website.
...
“All countries, according to the international norms, remain faithful to their commitments even after their governments change, but the American senators are officially announcing that at the end of the term of their current government, their commitments will be considered null and void,” Mr. Khamenei wrote. He said the letter was a “sign of declining political ethics.” Dude's kinda got a point.
Clearly the whole "equal branches of government" concept is lost on you. C'mon, you're just pissed that someone's actually standing up and challenging your beloved king.

So what you're saying is that no one in government really cared that she used her personal email then? Nobody cared at the time, because there was no regulation at the time that requires government employees to use government only emails.
That regulation was passed in 2014.
Personally I don't know what the requirements were on her turning them over yet. Federal Records Act of 1950 (as amended in 1986) requires that she hand over all of her records from being Secretary of State in a timely fashion after leaving office to the record keeping part of the Secretary of State. Timely is the key term, and it could be argued that she failed to do so.
However she hasn't only been criticized for not turning them over already. It's been a lot about her using it in the first place. They've even claim she has not only broken the state department rules by doing so but the law as well. She broke Professional Code of Conduct and Ethics, but no laws for using her personal email instead of the government issued one.
At worse, her federal pension will be reduced. But no civil/criminal charges based on her usage of her personal email can be made, because the regulation requiring all government employees to use the government encrypted emails was in place when she was SOS.
People knew about this on both sides for a long time and did nothing. Did nothing because they were expecting her to abide by the law of releasing the records. Gave her plenty of chances to do so too. Now it's too late.

If she had turned over her emails, the press would've gotten ahold of them eventually and had a hay day with everything they could taken grossly out of context. I'm not saying what she did is right but honestly myself under the same circumstances I wouldn't give my personal emails over to a bunch of poo flinging monkies either.
As for if she was actually hiding something? Probably. everyone has secrets. Whether it's the kind of career ending secrets that her opponents were hope for is unprobable but also probably a moot point as it would've been an endless vomit of criticism going forward from everything about the way she addresses people to a mistyped word in a sentence to things just made up. She also works with the Clinton foundation, and probably has secrets that aren't her's alone to give in there too. If she was a good SOS, she wouldn't have anything to hide, and AP wouldn't have found anything.
What they are looking for is the "smoking gun" on her many scandals, including her biggest one yet.
By fonewear 2015-03-12 14:38:55
I think she is a secret Muslim but I have to get her e-mails to prove it !
All you need is she is a power hungry woman. That should be reason enough to fear her.
Plus she hasn't even officially announced and she is doing a terrible job at being an candidate.

While I agree with the sentiment, I also know there's not a single politician that doesn't have something to hide. Especially in Washington. I honestly wish career politician wasn't allowed to be a thing. They can't be all bad.
Just like every priest in the world cannot be all good, every politician in Washington cannot be all bad. There's bound to be one good politician there.

The voice of congress is intended to be just as strong as the voice of the president. If anything the GOP is doing Iran a favor by reminding them how easily things can change.

This event is a good example of people's partisan politics and vocal points.
Notice how people who state "This isn't an issue" would also state "Clinton deleted all of her emails to hide Benghazi!!!!!!11oneone" and people who state "Republicans in Congress are traitors to the crown President!!!!!!11oneone" also state "Clinton email thing is a non-issue"

If you don't have some measure of credibility and continuity with regards to agreements in international relations, then it isn't worth the time or effort to try to deal with you.
It's the political equivalent of defaulting on your debt.

France fines yogurt cartel 193m euros for price-fixing
French authorities have fined the country's top yogurt makers €193m (£136m; $204m) for engaging in a price-fixing cartel for six years.
Eleven firms - representing 90% of France's yogurt makers - were involved in setting the price of supermarket own-brand yoghurt and dairy products.
...
The ruling found that the 11 firms colluded on how and when to drive up prices - and by what amount - for six years, from 2006 to 2012.
The cartel set prices for products including yoghurt, fromage frais, creme fraiche, and dairy desserts.
According to the complaint, yoghurt executives used dedicated secret mobile phones to come together for clandestine meetings at hotels, each time varying the meeting places for the sake of discretion.
