Not sure how one so easily rationalizes gender discrimination, but draws the line at sexual orientation. Because I doubt male hairdressers refuse women cause they're women and female hairdressers refuse men cause they're men. They're simply specialized in working for one in most places.
Don't you think by choosing to specialize in men's hair you're choosing to not specialize in women's?
How does this concept elude you, oh right because liberalism.

Barbers shave beards, salons treat you with cosmetics. It's not my fault women don't have beards and salons are not very popular with men(they're on the rise though).
It's not either liberal or conservative ffs, some people would try anything to argue.

Are you trying to be funny, or are you trying to make a point about one thing by comparing it to something completely different? I can't always tell with you.

Yea the lack of real barber shops is disappointing. I'm lucky to have one. Most are stylists that don't do a good job normally. They always rush my haircut. The barber I go to takes her time for a nice cut.
You need to head to the "hood." Plenty of good barbershops there. Go to a predominantly hispanic or black area and you'll find great barbers.
I've got better shaves, line-ups, tapers, fades, just overall better quality service at some of these hole in the wall places that are $14-15 a cut versus these chain barber shops like Floyds that charged me like $40.

Finding the right one can be a trick though.
My biggest thing is just the beard. Anyone with a pair of clippers can manage my hair for the most part.

I mean, some do, but electrolysis is generally more helpful in those instances than a guy with an apron and some shaving foam.

I'm trying to determine the logic used to come to this decision, throw me a bone here.
I don't have a problem with that link you posted. Employers should have the ability to terminate employees for overseas employees. Especially with extreme liberals like Sanders trying to raise the minimum wage, companies need to make some profit. They don't go into business solely for the good of the economy...
There's always 3rd party candidates. FML The minimum wage is severely behind, and Sanders is a moderate liberal.
Moderate liberal? He's a self-proclaimed socialist.
Could be worse. Trump is moderately HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE (by his ego!), but those red states eat it up.
Someone I was close to when I was younger then found 11 years later blocked me a couple of days ago after "I am part of the problem" for not being against illegal immigrants/gration, that it is the duty of Americans to defend America, and that I need to "wake up".
They just so happened to be a Trump fan.
Why are the hot ones crazy?
Generally if one says to "wake up" it's best to move along.
Well at least in this context.

My biggest thing is just the beard. Anyone with a pair of clippers can manage my hair for the most part. I always was told these three tips. They have never failed me.
1) Never go to a barbershop who doesn't work by appointments.
2) Ask them if they do a lineups or fades/tapers with a blade to skin. If they do a lineup or their skin fades with the machine that's bad service imo.
3) A good place will always be hard to make an appointment on friday or saturday.

Is mentioning NY supposed to be meaningful..? The half a century ago was the more meaningful part, but the NY part is relevant. Things were probably different in Kansas city or Podunk.

I'm going to a walk-ins welcome gynecologist later so I can sue for gender discrimination when they won't examine me. Nah, because that works on biology. Go to a Curves gym instead, and sue them when they won't let you work out because you're a man.

Curves is considered a "health club," so I think they are legally allowed to discriminate because its a "private club"? I'm not 100% sure if Curves falls into the same category as "private club" like some other gyms/spas that can legally sell memberships to particular genders.
Also the gynecologist would see you as a male or female, they still have to perform a residency like any other physician. S/he may refer you to another physician if they feel that the condition is out of their general field of medicine or specialty.

Quote: Let me begin by saying that I love Bernie Sanders. I’m wearing my “Bernie for president” shirt right now, as I type on my computer with a big “Bernie 2016″ sticker on it. Sanders will have my vote, because I believe in voting with my heart and conscience. Despite my admiration, I know that he doesn’t stand a chance against Hillary Clinton.
Sanders edges out Clinton in New Hampshire, and Clinton barely has a single-digit lead in Iowa. For Bernie’s supporters, this is big news, and an understandable source of excitement. But the United States is made of more than just New Hampshire and Iowa. While they are certainly important first stages, a victory in one or both of these states certainly doesn’t ensure that a candidate will secure the nomination.
The Clinton Machine’s Advantages
Nothing seems to be slowing down the Clinton Machine. The scandal surrounding Clinton’s private email server is barely making a dent in her approval ratings among Democrats. Sixty-one percent didn’t find the scandal important, and another twenty-one percent only found it “somewhat important.” If a major, current scandal is barely affecting any liberal voters, then former scandals (Benghazi, Whitewater, etc.) are unlikely to have any influence either. Clinton is far more moderate than Sanders, which makes her appealing to Democrats who fear Sanders is too far left to be electable. She is also pulling in significantly more money than Sanders, because the Vermonter refuses to accept any funds from PACs. Money makes the political world go ’round, and Clinton has raised nearly $68 million. That dwarfs Sanders’ $15 million.
In recent national polls, Clinton is snagging between 44-55% of the vote, while Sanders only has 20-26%. The average of 10 polls puts Clinton at 46% and Sanders at nearly 24%. That is certainly impressive for a socialist septuagenarian who barely anyone had heard of before his campaign announcement. Yet, if Sanders can’t win over a key part of the Democratic base, the game is over. Sanders may be wildly popular among progressives, and especially younger voters, but there’s one key part of the Democratic base he’s failing to win over: nonwhite voters.
Sanders’ struggle with nonwhite voters
It certainly isn’t for lack of trying. Sanders has desperately tried to win the favor of Black Lives Matter activists. He’s let them take the stage from him, spoken in favor of the movement, and done basically everything his campaign can think of to win their support. He has a long history of fighting for racial justice: Sanders was a part of the March on Washington in 1963. If he were still a student activist, chances are he might be a part of the Black Lives Matter movement himself. Despite all of his efforts and his track record, Clinton has an astounding 95% of the vote among nonwhite Democrats. He is making efforts to reach out to other nonwhite voters, but is hitting the same roadblocks. Sanders is either unheard of, or unsupported, in the nonwhite community. No matter how big of a splash he makes among young, white voters, he’s doomed if he can’t win over a sizeable chunk of the nonwhite vote.
This problem is clear as a day. Just show up at any of Sanders’ incredibly popular rallies, and you’ll notice a common trend. Although the trend is changing, most of the speakers who take the stage before Sanders are white. The crowds he draws are predominantly, nearly exclusively, white. According to pollster Paul Maslin, “The Bernie Sanders voter is still a Volvo-driving, financially comfortable liberal who is pretty much white.”
Politics is an unpredictable game, but there are still common themes we can observe. When a candidate can’t win over a huge chunk of their base, they’re doomed to fail. Unless a miracle occurs, we’re going to learn that Hillary Clinton is the Democratic nominee.
Is his candidacy meaningless?
It won’t all be for naught. Sanders’ popularity is forcing Clinton to lean more to the left, when she’d prefer to be more moderate. Sanders has secured roughly a quarter of the Democratic vote, and when Clinton takes on her Republican challenger, she’s going to need the support of Sanders’ fans. That means Clinton will have to stay left, and will probably choose a liberal running mate with a track record like Sanders’ to help draw in his followers.
If Clinton wins the White House, in a way, Sanders’ supporters have won too. We have a more left-leaning Clinton, and likely a Sanders-esque VP. Bernie Sanders will never be President of the United States, but he’s completely changed the game.
Why Bernie Sanders Can't Win

I think Bernie Sander can absolutely win the democratic nomination. However, I think it's going to be in favor for Republicans. He can't lock down minority voters. That's going to cause certain states in the general election to go red.

Don't forget that you're going to divorce your wife and your sons will marry FABULOUS
And I think Trump has a better chance at the republican nomination than Sanders at the democratic nomination, personally. Maybe we'll get the fabled Trump vs Sanders debate; a no holds barred debate between each side's brash, unscripted and outspoken candidates will be glorious.

And thanks to liberalism, 25 years ago the world health organization removed their definition of homosexuality as a "mental disorder."
It's unfair to attribute that solely to liberalism, biology had a huge part in removing it from the DSM. The studies of homosexual intercourse and courtship in other species, really solidified that it was a hereditary trait and not a psychological condition.
The idea that ideologies should dictate science/medicine is terrifying.

Louisiana: Women Don’t Need Planned Parenthood. They Have Dentists.
Mother Jones.
Quote: The task seems straightforward: Make a list of health care providers that would fill the void if Louisiana succeeded in defunding Planned Parenthood. But the state, which is fighting a court battle to strip the group of hundreds of thousands of dollars in Medicaid funds, is struggling to figure out who would provide poor women with family planning care if not Planned Parenthood.
Nowhere is this struggle more apparent than in a recent declaration by Louisiana's attorneys that there are 2,000 family planning providers ready to accommodate new patients. A federal judge, reviewing the list in an early September court hearing, found hundreds of entries for specialists such as ophthalmologists, nursing homes caregivers, dentists, ear nose and throat doctors, and even cosmetic surgeons.
"It strikes me as extremely odd that you have a dermatologist, an audiologist, a dentist who are billing for family planning services," said the judge, John deGravelles, who will determine in the next week whether it is legal for the state to end Planned Parenthood's Medicaid contracts. "But that is what you're representing to the court? You're telling me that they can provide family planning and related services?"
His harsh questioning sent the state back to the drawing board. On Tuesday, the state's attorneys acknowledged that the dentists and other specialists didn't belong on the list. They filed a pared-down version that lists just 29 healthcare providers....
There is LOTS more to this article.

Actually the peak of liberalism was in the Kennedy and Johnson years.
We've reached a pretty sad point in liberalism imo, where we do this name calling and media executions. Constantly using the terms -phobe and bigot. While most of their use is justified, we've completely erased the idea light humor.
I saw a meme about Caitlyn Jenner the other day on facebook, a bunch of LGBT ran to yell transphobic. They were making fun of Caitlyn Jenner as a media hog, nothing about her HRT, SRS, etc... I mean if you use such strong terms like trans/homo-phobe on a light joke like that, what do you use for someone like Kim Davis?
