Why not abolish all controlled substance laws and age restrictions and let nature sort things out.

there has to be a common ground between total anarchy & this

God bless American stupidity. Latin America has been suffering for decades under our drug policies, a culture of violent cartels, cold war backyardisms, holdover colonialist sentitrments, lopsided trade policy and political ince and you're surprised people want out? Cheap labor is good so lonssuesit exists silently I suppose.

For a country so obsessed with the world we seem know jack shabout it. I suppose all that Columbian pure does a number on the minds consuming all those drugs. Perhaps when our pols quit snorting and start thinking beyond the scripts handed to them we'll see things in Latin America change. And oh , that means the people of that region need to change too. Murica isn't the fount of all your troubles.

But let's continue the ruse shall we? Middle Murica vs. Immigrants while the employers of cheap labor laugh on. That building is going up pretty nicely, my dinner will be served by the finest hands of Ecuador and where would I be without my Mexican pal stocking shelves in my grocery store.

At least they're willing to work. I'm telling you.

Send us the workers. Send back our own useless citizens.

Let's get into the spirit of NAFTA!

That's racist!

But a good idea....

Should countries even have boarders?

Idealistic nonsense.

Grow up, we should fix our own before we take on someone else's.

we made this problem wanting all of latin america's precious drugs, btw. we are culpable when the consequences of our actions comes a knockin' on the door.

I tried to say this before and everyone just sort of ignored it.

We (the US citizens) are the major contributor to Latin & South America's drug cartels essentially controlling their countries. They're armed with weapons made in the USA. They're shipping their drugs to the USA and sitting on fat mansions built with bricks of American bills.

Pablo Escobar is the patron saint of the day south of the border.

So, we deserve it?

You're the one always screaming about personal responsibility.

Please explain to me in detail how we control the countries in latin and south america?

You can't grasp that their problems -- that is, the narcoculture and cartel power they're fleeing -- is caused entirely by the actions of Americans?

We want illegal substances and therefore the cartels are a supply to that demand? Are you joking? what about all the other people in North and South America that want those illegal substances too?

Joking about what?

America has bullied any nation on this hemisphere that has tried to legalize weed under the insane drug laws we've imposed upon ourselves by threatening to undermine their financial/social aid given to them either through 'Murica or European nations. Cross us and you can kiss your aid packages goodbye. Cross us hard enough and we'll just overthrow your gummint wholesale.

Couple that with our outsourced desire for narcotics and boom, you dun *** up Latin America. Shall I start pulling pages from Reagan-era meddling during the Cold War?

F*&^ it! Let's face it. These people cannot wait for a pathway to America because they need help right away. A wall won't stop them, legalized pathways won't stop them. Their government doesn't provide enough aid to them or ways to improve their quality of life. The cartel already runs parts of that country.......

The way I see it, there is only one way to resolve this...... Invade that damn hell hole and open up the borders and take their resources! Let this be known as the Continental United States! Well show em' the United States way of plundering and seizing! After Mexico is conquered, put a picture at the border of "The United Mexican State" boarder and tell South America they'll be next if they don't get their ***together!

Never-mind...... I guess we can't be known as the Continental United States since we shouldn't invade Canada...... Their people aren't leaving in droves...... Canucks FU*% EVERYTHING UP!

Less actual humor, more preachy. At least it makes Bill Maher slightly more humorous by comparison.

I remember blowing someone's mind because I pointed out that Mexicans speak a European language just like the United States and Canada. Granted, I had to find an Atlas to convince her it was true.

Conservative Groups Protest Central American Children By Marching With Guns

Are they threatening to shoot them? Are they threatening to shoot people who are bringing them in for processing?

I honestly do not see any 2ed amendment link to the child refugee crisis. I do not understand the display of firearms in this protest. I can understand the why of the protest but the armed thing?

I need to call an old friend who is a 2ed amendment fundamentalist. Maybe he knows.

Need to put one up around the Senate also.

But it still won't keep the stupid in. Remember the people who voted for them.

It's just an opportunity for them to show off their guns that normally collect dust all day. Not like it's going to make the House act any faster.
