No uses really. Especially now with the I.lv115 weapons all having the option for OaT.

Still good for skillups. Lower dmg, mob lives longer, more chance at skills. OaT 115 if you want skills and some faster exp/merit/job points

3. Equip a decent sword.

I was under the impression (unless adjusted) anything altering character animation (weapon change) nulls /lockstyle.
