Final Fantasy Vintage Posters

This isn't anything new, most of you have seen these before. I was going to make a topic for these about a year ago, never got around to it, and came across one of these tonight and thought I should get around to making the topic for it. So here they all are, at 821 × 1200 quality, except for the last three which were only uploaded at 328 × 479 quality. I reduced them to 340 pixel width, just click on the image to open the original quality version.

The artist of these posters has a website as well, but because it is a store, I don't believe I can link his site in my post. The artist's name is BuddyIris213, and you can find his site by searching for his name or "Final Fantasy Vintage Posters". He sells his posters ranging from 7" × 10", to 28" × 39".

So, which posters are your favorite? Do these stand up to your favorite Final Fantasy games?

I'm partial to FFVI, but that shouldn't be surprising considering it being my favorite in the franchise.

Though part of me wants to nerd out and make a wall gallery and frame (almost) all of them.

I think you can slightly tell which FF games were the artist's favorite, not that he gave anyone less attention over any other really. Maybe it's just the moment he decided to capture for some games were just more powerful than others. I don't really care for FFXIII but I really love what he did for it.

I like the IV one the best, I think.


I have something I may be able to contribute to this once I get home; have some great FFVII images saved in a similar style.

Edit: Sadly, I snagged them off of Tumblr and have no idea if they're available as prints or w/e else. =(
