Windower - Window Too Big, Image To Small

Good Morning,
I decided to use the free week to have a peek into FFXI again.
Downloaded windower4, edited my resolution in and now have the following problem:
The window is at the right size, filling out most of the screen.
The actual game image is too small though making it a painful gaming experience.

Due to this issue the windower command line and plugins like distance are outside of the visible part of the screen.

EDIT:
observation: FFXIconfig seems to reset itself constantly, maybe that's the issue.

Did you adjust the FFXI config manually?

I did via the config.exe.

set it in FFXiconfig and windower4.
After starting the game I notice that the FFXIconfig set itself back to default.

Solved~

Yeah, Windower.exe sets up the registry itself, it requires no messing about with the config tool anymore.

had a screen look like that back when I finally got it running in virtualbox, never did run down fixing it...
