Krystela I'm thinking it might be good to do a couple of idle sets like what you did with the other sets further up. Like have a good idle set with Bole/Queller/Serpentes/etc, then an ideal set with the Contemplator/Chironic/Kaykaus+1 goodness and all that? Just my 2 cents. I wouldn't advocate a lot of them. Looking at all those cure builds makes my eyes spin, I don't know how you can keep them all straight!

Yeah, I will. When I got the thread there was no need for multiple sets for idle, but seeing the issues it's causing now, I will make an obtainable and a QQ sets.
And thanks, those cure sets took me quite some time to make, I appreciate the appreciation!(omg i suck for making sentences that make sense QQ)
I also appreciate when you guys point things out like this, your input is always welcomed. Just don't fight each other, this thread is meant to help one another being the best healers we can be.

Cause i got all my refresh on Chironic during the campaign...

Wouldn't waste a cape on cure potency. There are plenty of other slots where cure potency can be easily capped.
That wasnt what he was asking.
No it's just flat out adding +5 to the cures.
So the +23% from JP breaks the 50% cap ? or can i swap out potency gear since i get +23% base potency? I'm confused.
It's not percentage. It's a static number that's added onto how much you cure for. 23 HP. Not 23%.

Minor nit-picking, but I personally prefer Etiolation Earring over Genmei Earring. Dat Resist Silence!
For real though, that set makes me want to cry. Even replaces Assiduity lol, so nasty!

I do genmei because its very easy to cap MDT or have high MDT due to Shellra, also most of the time you are out of range so that's why personally, I go for PDT. For those very few times I get hate.
But I think at that point, it's just a matter of personal preference.

Just got officially back in the game a couple of days ago(did my ROV missions during the period they had a couple of weeks ago.) And I decided I want to have at least 1 job 100%. I decided to do WHM since it's my favorite of all my jobs. 100% doesn't just mean CP capped, but also minimum RME, and maybe Aeonic too. But one step at a time. I saw what they did to Gambateinn and I was wondering is that additive so if you use Cursna you will always remove Doom every time with just the Empyrean weapon equipped and nothing else? Even if it's not I'm still going to get it. But I'm curious .

No, you will need the other pieces as well because the + cursna effects are multiplicative and not additive, unfortunately :(
At this point in game, it's still impossible to cap the cursna removal rate with only the whm gears, despise having the new gambeinsteinn for a total of 93% (caps at 99%). Even with 99% (the cap), you would still have a 1% chance to miss doom removal.

Yeah, we both already had multiple sets and we used to talk about it when we made/tested our Gearswaps.
This thread kinda do it too, it has full on pdt/mdt/dt & full on refresh. What they asked is for different "tier" to show how refresh sets progression would look like.
Thanks for the kind words and I totally agree, messaging me will get a faster response. I try to look at the thread once a day but sometimes, after doing my whm duties, filling gearswaps demands & updating my blog, I get a bit tired and I forget to check. >.<

People have MP issues still? in the words of the Illustrious Yoshi-P.
Defensive/DT sets are far more important than 1 or 2 more refresh sets if you have a good source of refresh and there's even a hint of you suddenly getting smacked in the face.
You can always, if you're a dirty gearswap user, create an target of my target Integer trigger so when it faces you, you auto swap to a DT set and can just fulltime the best Refresh/idle sets otherwise.
That's a tad harder to make, but I did it thanks to something Bryth mentioned months back, its actually part of the Gearswap Include I made for Samurai - although that never achieved what I wanted (a 100% accurate threat meter).

So has anyone done testing to confirm whether or not Alaunus's Solace + 10 works for bar as well? Or is it just safe to assume it does? I'm above 500 enhancing without a cape anyway so I guess there's no point in not wearing it either way, but it would be nice to know.
Oh and Cureskin I think was confirmed not to have a cap if I read that other topic correctly, right?

I discarded refresh in hands and feet slot a year ago and haven't looked back. I use Gendewitha hands, body, and feet for the extra DT (you can always force at least -3% PDT). I hit -50% PDT / 25% MDT (before Shell) with 4/tic refresh, with an additional tic below 70% MP from Fucho-no-obi (which I full-time in the waist slot). I haven't gotten around to getting a Homiliary yet.
The only times I ever pop Sublimation are when bringing melees (Curaga spam) and they really suck (Curaga spam for days). And by suck, I mean the (good) BLU doing more damage with Glutinous Dart than the other DDs are doing with their WSes.
Meanwhile, I've shown a few times that "WHM tank" can be a thing depending on the mob. The defensive value of a -50% DT WHM spamming Cureskin Cure IIIs and IVs on themselves is surprisingly high.
I say go for DT over Refresh. You lose far more MP from dying than you do from lacking that additional 3/tic.

Personally, I just have a MP threshold in my lua, if my MP goes lower than 75%, it switch to a refresh set. Otherwise I'm always in DT/PDT/MDT.
And yes, whm tank is totally a thing. I have done it, it's pretty damn fun.

For the Alaunus's cape question for barspell, I just went safe and putted it in my set for the same reason as you, easy to cap enhancing without a cape. If we speak technically, solace in general does have an effect on barspells, but personally, I didn't see much of a difference.
And yes, cureskin as been tested and it doesn't cap so that cape is a "must have". But for the weather set, I still don't know if it's better than using a twilight cape. My guess is Alaunus's would be better but I don't want to go too much into it until we have sure values.

There was 2 person out of 3 demonstrating that it doesn't cap, I mean at this point... Rollandj & Ihina. I was pretty sure it capped at 300 for a long time myself, but proof is proof and cactuar method of testing is as accurate as it can get.
Seems like we're never going to meet an agreement on this matter.

From what I remember, that's both the highest reported in this thread and also the highest myself and another linkshell member have seen. I guess it's possible SE didn't want people dual wielding 10% enh. dur. Gadas or something.

im trying to put together some new whm sets. Few equip questions.
Are there any good alternatives to the Janniston Ring from Alduin? Currently already have the bst ring.
Also are there any good refresh pieces for hands/feet other then serpents and chronic which im told require Dark matter augs.
And any refresh pieces for Waist, Back, Neck, and Rings? I dont recall any nor do i see any. But i often lose track of augmented equip these days.

Try Haoma's Ring and Sirona's ring.
Edit: Cure Potency II, not cure potency <_<
