Plastic Surgeon And Gender Equipment

So when I try to use Plastic Surgeon to race change into a female race, I can't equip gear from a male race. A good example is DNC AF.

I've looked this issue up quite a bit and found numerous threads where people stated that there was no way around this. The thing is, those threads were really old.

So has anything changed? Is it still impossible to get around?

The only solution I found from those threads is to use a macro, but that conflicts with other addons/plugins of mine.

There is a way around it, by DAT modding the armor file to change the gear to be male equippable. The server still knows that you're male, so it won't complain, you only need to fool your client.

Well, this suddenly seems extremely complicated. Thanks for the info though, I'll look around and see what I can do.

I might be able to write something regarding that later, if I don't forget.

If you can, it would be appreciated. (btw, I need to be able to use the male version of the DNC af on females, not the other way around)
If not, then oh well. I'm sure I'll be able to find a file out there somewhere.
