Crashing On Log In (Laptop Only)

Hey guys, pretty sure this is a Windower issue, so posting it here.

This doesn't really make sense, but not many things do now a days.

So I just installed the new update on 2 different PC's and 1 laptop. I regularly use windower on all 3 in general.

On the 2 PC's, can log in with windower and everything is just fine.

On the laptop, and only on the laptop, when I log in it freezes on the "Downloading data" screen every single time and crashes.

Reason why I think it has to do with windower is that because I am able to log in on the laptop without using Windower and it doesn't crash.

Any suggestions or ideas why this is happening?

Windower has nothing to do with FFXI updates. The only exception is that Windower also needs to be updated whenever there are new items/spells/abilities for it to work properly.

If you want you can update FFXI without using Windower by opening POL.exe. However you might want to check your Hard Drive capacity or clear your memory cache since that might be the real culprit.

I don't know much about computers, just figured it was a Windower problem since I was able to log in without windower on the laptop. Thanks for clearing that up.
