Any suggestions how to integrate Tyro and Ramza in my team? Or does Tyro(SG) get removed since I have Y'shtola(ss2)?
Feel like Ramza + Y'shtola would be a better combo unless you need some kind of spell requirement for mastery where having Tyro's kit would be advantageous as to not lose any damaging characters.

I think so too, but it also has a lot to do with medicas. If your only Medica is attached to a healer, as they generally are, using Tyro as a DD might be viable. Or even Ramza.
I know this too well as someone that is completely tied to one Whm SB without a medica. It's extremely hard to find a good Medica on a useful DPS or support.
Looking better at Yshtola and Tyro, at first glance i would choose Yshtola if both were competiting for healer spot (if Tyro is considered dd, both together or Tyro as a suport, probably changing Yshtola for a better white mage if Tyro uses SG).
Y'Shtola has around 40 mnd over Tyro, whats definitively relevant but not gamebreaking as cure formula or buff/debuff duration are less related to mnd than others equations. But Yshtola has considerably less HP than Tyro (almost 2000) so overall, as a healer Tyro can perfom slightly worse than Yshtola but has higher survivability, thats not considering Tyro has access to everything in game.
I miss Y'shtola, she used to be so good. She was my Whm for the majority of the time I played this game. No MC2 and no RS just *** her though. The only time I've used her in recent memory is for that shitty tree thing in the new dungeon update that AoE puts like 4 status debuffs on everyone. Medica II actually worth it for that one!
RIP 500+ mythril; time to start saving again for BSB
I'm a bit late, but I threw all my mythrils trying to get this damn thing (11 pulls in total, ended up at 0 mythril)
So the stash is gone.
Ended up with
Defender x2
FFT staff x4
FFT rod x3
FFT robe x4
FFT shield x1
FFT bracelet x2
ff6 random fists x1
and on the last pull Platinum sword
Now that I have it, I could have easily RW'd it, but Ramza still gets use in my party/makes things more convenient
That said, Agrias on the other hand, she's a game changer. Having access to both of her relics is downright amazing; worth the mythril I pulled.
Her kit is awesome. For multi boss fights her SSB is slightly weaker than Cloud's blade beam (and having both of them + scream = damage output through the roof).
Her shield for single target bosses is amazing. Attack/magic breakdown that stacks with breakdowns and full break. I also have native SG, so mitigation game is on point.
Putting ramza in my party means taking red XIII out, but since Agrias has whm 4star, I can throw protect on her (for the fights I used lunatic high on). I have 8 uses on her life siphon, so that's enough for damage.
Damage output with scream is very very nice, but Agrias is where my pulls really came through on this banner. She'll probably keep a permanent spot in my physical party.
I disagree with the statement that Agrias Hallowed Bolt is weaker than Blade Beam. The total multiplier can be lower, but with Shout, multiplier 2 and full defense debuff most of time is overkill, and the 4 strikes from Agrias will hit for more than Cloud 3, aside status debuff.
We'll find out soon now that I can actually use synergy stuff with Agrias (kept her full time defender until she SB was learned obviously)
Also I love her shield. Weaker than some of my other options like Edincoat for attack, but the defense on it is amazing. That plus her high base defense, Agrias takes so little damage compared to my other frontline while having just as high attack.
Her speed is ***, but that's not really an important stat in this game like the others.

If you go by current U boss defense (615-640) yea, just with full break alone and soft cap attack(590) you will cap dmg on 2.0 mult with +20% RM weapon dmg.
We know that the defense will go up, as Bahasin was a small taste of high defense U boss(815~ish). So expect 800-1200 U/U+ bosses and on those you wont be capping dmg cap of 9999 with a 2.0 multiplier with just FB as youll need 800-900+ attack to come close to that. Obviously piling on more debuffs for dmg will work, but I prefer to go with magic/power breakdowns over armor/mental breakdowns if I had to bring one. Having Frans/Faris/Auron SSBs make things interesting though~
That said, single bosses are much more common, so shield is going to get a lot more uses, but when you do get that multi boss fight, HB is gonna be the ***
Because honestly that I have native scream, I can RW Hand of the emperor and get some pretty godlike damage with thief revenge
Sadly it does, wind orbs. You need 12 major winds for R2 though. You need 20 M.winds for R2 for Thief revenge which is a lot and 40 for its R3. If you have a sweet setup for TR, probably stick with that.
The good thing with Agrias is that shes a spellblade knight, so you can stick her with banishing blade and spell blade for any weakness or due to her support, can come with protectga/shellga
Saint's Cross max potential dmg over 4 turns: 80,000 (2x 9999 * 4)
Cleansing Strike max potential dmg per use: 30,000 (3x 9999)
That 80,000 from cross is available immediately after buffs/debuffs, Cleansing Strike requires 4 turns of Lifesiphon (3 with Ace Striker) with a free SB every 6 Lifesiphons (5 with Ace Striker).
So Cross deals 80,000 in 4 turns
Strike deals 70,000 in 4 turns (assuming all lifesiphons deal maximum damage)
So, for me, Cross is better for burst in terms of maximum possible damage output, especially since raising Cross's damage is considerably easier than raising a pure physical attack. So for me, it'll be 4 Cross -> Lifesiphon Strike spam if something lives long enough, or 1 Strike for debuff -> 4 cross -> strike spam
It's life siphon Strike + Theif raid vs Cross/Strike(When available) vs random DD (because I don't have any good SBs to put here, and the thf is now no longer special because of goodbye thief raid)
I'm basically looking for my most output coming from my best combination of two DDs in these slots; rather than just what specifically does more damage on Agrias alone.
I would basically need to get Locke's thief raid damage to 4k dmg a strike to beat Saint's Cross; which isn't far fetched when considering native scream + RW hand of the emperor
Outside of thief raid, the best damage I would have in a physical build is throwing someone in there with double cut or tempo flurry and a shitty SB (since I don't have any other good physical SB that aren't already in my party)
Fair enough, but when he was making that post, he was replying to me/my question of which of the two to go for lol.
So unless I interpreted his post wrong his post was life siphon/SB is better than SC in the context of my question (so would be implying that it'd be paired with honing Thief revenge instead and utilizing both of them)
If I'm wrong though, and that was a standalone statement, then I see where your comparison comes into play
Started playing a few days ago under the suggestion from a linkshell mate. The game is definitely nostalgic, & I am having a blast. It's for iOS, and Android smartphones and tablets. Currently trying to complete these timed events.
Any one else loving the global release of this game? It's been out in Japan for some time. We finally get in on the goodies
