Leon, Garnet and Vanille stuffs were great for me, Cyans katana i didnt like as i already have Kiku-Ichi, Tancred body is something i will never use till new ffxiv event/realms and i have mixed feelings for the ribbon. I wanted it but i was hoping to get this or organics in current banner. Now, i definitivelly wont pull for a single item.
So, come hope, my mythril is waiting for you!

When you start having your 7th copy of a 3* gear/weapon, thats a good sign to throw it. I have one copy of several combined 3* gear: 2 Lilith Rods 5* (FF4), 2 Mythril Saber, etc. Some gear (like swords or staves) I just need one, so any other copy is pointless. Repeating a joke, but at least you arent this guy:  I got the Vanille Staff, is she going to show up in the Hope event? Sadly don't even have her, is she good? The free 5* FF7 sword is actually a big deal for me because I haven't got a physical damage 5* in years.

Lightning is still my favorite character and one of my only physical weapons is Blazefire but having her at 50 is so shitty. Looking at that website it doesn't even look like that MC will be possible to get until the blank MC thing. I'm so *** with MCs right now.

Best battle system we'd had in a FF game for a long time at that point. Hurray for the job class revival

At that point it was you either spam attack on Berserker or just in general, else you get killed so fast.

I got a terrible last Lucky pulls chocked with 3s and a few 4s to combine. Overall haul wasn't bad, considering I'm 100% F2P.
-Heroic Scarf, making Mog useful and has stacking effects with Breakdowns which I didn't know about. -Snow's Coat - meh. -Golden Armor - pretty good, though Leon's stuck @50, Hand of the Emperor is a powerful SB and stacks nicely. -Buster Sword - a much needed decent SB for Cloud. -Guard Stick - decent rod, decent SB. -Sentinel's Grim - Tyro's back in action! As far as the 4x lucky pulls I did I got:
- Hypnocrown x2 - Healer's Robe that gave me a 6* for Y'shtola the waifu - Blood Lance (I'll never use) - Binding Rod, at the least a 13 synergy staff. Feels sucky that 2 of my 5 items were ones I already had but 6*s are fun I guess. I sure wish I could get something for physical DPS though. It doesnt stacks with breakdowns but probably it does with full break. Binding Rod isnt a staff, its a rod, and rods main role are having high magic stats so its the primary weapon for nukes. In FFRK rods will never be useless, you can always give it to most mages. Did the 100 gem pull for hope event and got the Skycutter. Hope-fully (...) useful

As a retaliate-addicted, ive been using Tyro + retaliate + any random ranged i have, but that throw or Sazh gun would fit nicely my setup in this troublesome realm. I just got Healing Staff (FFV Lenna) from my 4th half-price pull :/
So far: 7/44 Brotherhood (X Tidus), Revolver (VIII Squall), Magistral Rod (X Yuna) > Grand Glove (VII Tifa) > Healer's Robe (XIV Y'shtola), Hypnocrown (IX Eiko) > Healing Staff (V Lenna) Spooky.
 Free treats too~  And the home menu music is a Halloween remix of the Mysidia theme. I cant express how pleased im for getting free 5* and a ffxiii ranged...
Thats pretty much what i needed at this point. That hat is so cool, they basically just gave away the best support relic I've ever got! Power leveling up Hope/Vanille in hope (hah) that I can do some of the + battles this round. I have Vanille/Lightning with their SB2 weapons, Hope really well geared, Sazh....not well geared. We'll see.
I have a random question, is Josef's double hit RM any good? I don't have very many melee RMs that I can even use so I might grab it. Very nice touch with the free items.

my complaint: I was barely at 99 inventory before and with those 2 new items I have none. Don't want to get adamantite/scarlatite with the event going on to combine all this ***. Its true potentials is when used with retaliate strat: you can equip it with mages that normally dont have combat abilities. Without retaliate, its kinda meh as you can easily get 1.4+ multiplier with several abilities. Yeah I don't use Retaliate but does Double Hit work with better than Double Cut abilities like Breakdowns?
Do you have any suggestions for good melee RMs that arent too hard to get? I know Luneth has the best one but it comes from a 106 dungeon (the MC) and I'm not sure I can get it. My first memory crystal thing! (for cloud :/)
