Usually save Dr. Mog's Teachings for AoE haste/attack up soul breaks, the BSSB's benefit more from the Ace Striker class --- with that, I can almost always keep up the aftermath with Cloud and Bartz.
well, since I have been getting bent over a barrel by the RNG for a LONG time on Weapon draws, I have none of those. as it is, with the BSSB, I can use it, it wears off, and a single Lifesiphon puts it ready to use again with my limited time with it today. I find my luck really funny. I don't remember when I started but I've been playing for a while now, and I could just never get any of the really good SBs. Pulled hard on SS2 twice, pulled hard on Lulus Hairpin, pulled hard on a few attack boosts. Then suddenly everything comes flooding in and I get two SSBs, a Hastega, two Attack buffs, and a BSSB in like 2 months time. In the last FF7 event I really had to keep myself from pulling for Platinum Fists because of how badly I needed an attack boost, I just pulled Platinum Fists and don't think I'll ever use them because I now have 3-ish attack boosts.
Also attack buff stacking is gonna be a mess, Platinum Fist is the best at 35%, Flames of War at 30%, and BSSB at 20%, gonna either have to time abilities really well or just say *** it!

my luck has been absolute ***. I did 5x50 pulls to get three 5* items on this banner alone. there have been several recently as well where I say "I'll do one 50 pull and keep saving" and walk out with 11 3* and 4* items that mostly just end up getting vendored.

and apparently Cloud gets Mako Might provided you break his cap twice and get SOLDIER Counter, as I just got it this evening. so now I have a spare Dr. Mog's Teachings, basically.

Not everyone, I don't have it lol. I don't really need it either, it would just be really fun/cool to have it but oh well. I can beat the bonus battles w/o it as I have a lot of synergy gear.

I changed mine to that. I thought Lennas SB would be super popular as a RW but I think I actually LOST people switching from Lightnings SSB to Lennas hastega.
I pretty much auto all battles till bonus battles. I can see people struggling IE new peeps that need DPS. People with two lifesypons and meteor r3 ruinaga r4 full break r2 ton of 65+s etc dont need dps and prolly just afk play and only use RW on bonus battles or for the lulz...

Now the decision. Do I keep Whip Kick on RW? Or change to Fenrir Overdrive, Flames of War, or Princess' Favor? Whip Kick seems to be getting a decent amount of usage, but I wonder if one of the others can get a bit more usage?

Why the hell am I playing this...
Dungeon level in the bonus scenarios is a huge lie, I cleared a 35 at level 15ish, and got Jecht at level 28 or so (but Seymour took me way back to FFX and roflstomped me on the first try...)
Been playing for 3 days. It's somewhat addictive. Got lucky as hell on a Relic Pull 3 and got this give star armor thingie that gives an overlimit of ProShell, and a four star ice srmor. That, plus a halfway broken 5 star sword and that book weapon has enabled me to clear most of the content.
Plus, making stuff.

I can't recall such a time in the game...
I need to spend more time doing Realm synergy and upgrading my abilities, I wasted so many orbs finishing up the old quests.

the numbers next to dungeons aren't so much directly telling you their levels/what level you should be, but rather a generic guideline on how strong the monsters inside are scaled. equipment/hones matter a lot more than character levels in most cases, and that cant really be assigned a number.

It's always a good idea to find out what type of trash are on the stages before going into a dungeon. While some stages have high level #s, the trash can be weak and easily swept leaving only the boss as being worth the level requirement.
And then you have situations like FF9 where grenades are using 3k Firagas or FF4 where Lunar subterrane mobs are all 11k HP dragons with AOE. Yeowch.

I haven't unlocked much yet- I'm plowing steadily through ff6, am up to date on everything else except the one in 2 that I just unlocked. Main character is level 35, and I mastered the Celebration Grimoire already, so these fights are a cakewalk.

I've only wiped once, to that jackass Seymour, I hated his *** in the original game and I still hate his *** now.
The 8-bit graphics and music are hitting me right in the nostalgia. I played the first game on the original NES when I was eight. My friend's dad couldn't believe I was really interested (and wouldn't let me borrow it at first) until he caught me with his strategy guide. My female friend was less than amused but I was hooked!
28 years later...still playing FF!

I know those feels.. My mom got me hooked on this.. 24 years later she has dementia and can't really even remember who I am. I was playing this in front of her and she pretty much snaps back to remembering me... Especially the FF6 event with Celes opera event... she always love that theme...

I dont think the cash coming from RW is that much relevant, but if anything, I can see Fenrir being more wanted than Whip Kick.
And grats to the pull, I believe with that sword, Cloud will be the strongest for some time.

Are they releasing an MC2 with this event? I'd really like to Lv.80 my Zack. He's got both his glove and Buster Sword. ;;
Also, my Cid is doing work with the new Polearm. Its 50% ATK boost stacks with Aerith's Planet Protector. Then he gets a 25% DEF boost AND Haste?! I'll take it! 6 charges of Lifesiphon and Ace Striker or Knight's Charge fill him up 3 gauges, not counting damage taken. Now to wait an eternity for HIS MC2!
Cloud's Fusion Sword still eludes me. Back to grinding elite story dungeons for mythril!

I recently noticed that the RW version of Cloud's BSSB does not give a permanent burst status. It's worth noting.
It's not just the RW version, I was doing the Seymour/Anima Elite dungeon on the FF10 list after I got Cloud's sword, and the special Attack/Defend options wore off twice before I finished the battle.
It seems like it only lasts a certain amount of time. But, on the plus side, by the time it wears off Cloud always has more than enough SB charged up to refresh it again.

None know what MC2 will come this time. It seems japanese had the empty MC to exchange for any MC2 like the event we had in december but we still dont have Hall of Rituals.
But none said we wont get it. Maybe we will get it soon considering Cloud bonus battle will take longer than usual to come.

Now I'm just confused, lol. I was nosing around the JP forums and they supposedly claim that the duration is based on INT. Also, they recommend to equip bangles for that reason.

Started playing a few days ago under the suggestion from a linkshell mate. The game is definitely nostalgic, & I am having a blast. It's for iOS, and Android smartphones and tablets. Currently trying to complete these timed events.
Any one else loving the global release of this game? It's been out in Japan for some time. We finally get in on the goodies
