I feel so bad for Mike Pence right now, lol.

Why? He could have said no.
imagine being stuck in that position. "well ***if I dont do it someone else even less qualified might. I need to try and balance the unbalance-able." (being trump)

How can you lose being vice president you don't really do anything at all. It's a dream job.

Because you have to attend every boring *** session in the legislature. That's how you lose in being the VP.

In other news there was a 3 way throw down outside the RNC between the KKK, BLM and the Westboro Baptist church.

Good, let those loonies distract each other. The BLM is just lucky that only a portion of them are as vile as the KKK and WBC, but if they keep it up the whole organization will become just as taboo.

I was about to say, the mods can see more than we can.

It's this type of similar thinking that's dangerous. Especially when bias is put into decision making. Lenin and then Stalin and Mao and Hitler depended on the belief of what you just said.

Just change Mod to Government

Only one way to respond to this:

Fonewear you genius that was a excellent response. I Heard this song plenty of times but never could understand it because it is sung in German and didn't even know who wrote it till I looked it up now. I found a English translation of the song and those lyrics are amazing no wonder it was a hit song in Europe. I thank you for the response it was well done. Music can explain anything

I could easily pull tidbits from speeches by Republicans/Democrats, ask if people from the opposing parties agree with them, then shout "Booyah!" in their face as I reveal it was from someone they don't like.
Hell we see this behaviour even here. Dunno if you ever seen it but there are people who sometimes give a +, then notice it's a post from a person they don't like and remove the +!

Making it irreversible would work, but can you also allow us to remove rating options on our own posts?

That way people are encouraged to reply if they feel strongly about your post and it's a bit more unbiased a system I.e. "These posts can't possibly be just for rate ups because they all have rate ups turned off" etc

It was a joke, albeit not a great one. I'm not screwing with the scoring code, especially not when I have so many other real problems to fix first.

Also, who the hell is posting for rate ups? There's no karma system here; you gain nothing from them, unless you really like staring at a line of mini icons.

Oh, it's not that bad. It was an excellent state to grow up in, imo. There's corn and race cars... and, uh, limestone I think......... and more highway per square mile than any other state.... and corn. Beat that, Washington Hippieville!

Yeah? How's your skiing? Your mountain climbing? And we have 70 MPH speed limits* on our freeways which really are free. Plus we supply IN with hydro-power so they don't have to burn so much coal.

Eh, mountain climbing and skiing are much better in my current state. And as far as I know, there aren't many toll roads in Indiana, and it produces around 90% of its own power from coal. But you're forgetting one thing: CORN. Yeah. Nobody can beat Indiana at that.

Shut up, Iowa.

Get offa my lawn.

Quote:
Iowa, the largest producer of corn in the US, grows three times as much corn as Mexico. Iowa harvested 3,548 acres (1,436 ha) of sweet corn in 2007. In 2011, the state had 92,300 corn farms on 30,700,000 acres (12,400,000 ha), the average size being 333 acres (135 ha), and the average dollar value per acre being US$6,708. In the same year, there were 13.7 million harvested acres of corn for grain, producing 2.36 billion bushels, which yielded 172.0 bu/acre, with US$14.5 billion of corn value of production.[24] Almost 1.88 billion bushels of corn were grown in the state in 2012 on 13.7 million acres of land, while the 2013 projections are 2.45 billion bushels of corn on 13.97 million acres of land.[25]

Ted Cruz basically just got up there and refused to endorse Trump, instead saying we need leaders of principle, and told voters to vote their conscience. Trump responded by entering the arena and his supporters shouted Cruz down. Ted Cruz, always the divider.

Eh, I'm not sure how to feel about that. I know that Glenn Beck, a huge supporter of Cruz, said that he would flat out refuse to back him in the future if he endorsed Trump. I wouldn't be surprised if Cruz received similar threats from other backers.

He was screwed no matter what he did. Stick with his word that he would support whichever candidate won but lose supporters, or go against his word and look like a sore loser but not a sell-out.

You know damn well that if Trump wasn't the nominee and didn't endorse him, the GOP would shouting from the roofs about him not sticking to the terms of the pledge all the candidates had to sign at the beginning of the primaries.

right cause politicians keep their word, totally forgot!

Trump blamed Cruz's dad for the JFK assassination, humiliated his wife and called him a liar over and over. What exactly did they expect him to say after all of that?

Not like Ted is the only one, the bush family clearly isn't there and are also saying vote your conscience, Mitt Romney has voiced his opinion crystal clear, it's Kasisch's state, and he's not even there.
The list goes on and on.

Trying to say the GOP isn't divided is like saying Melania Trump is a great speech writer.

Hundreds of millions of Americans are going to be shocked when I enter into the arena. We are living in the Era of the Fall of political parties in Washington DC and will witness the Rise of Independent Individuals taking back the power structure of Washington DC and restore the Constitutional Republic of the United States of America.

Shocked about a Politician that kept his word and accomplished it to start a new chapter for a better America.
