More like they're closing it, but it really isn't complete.

I totally agree. There are so many places and some characters (such as Abdhaljs, who is implied to be a great mage but somewhat offbeat) which were mentioned, but not shown at all and some interesting characters who were shown, but left untouched without giving any details about their lives (such as Lehko Habhoka, who is a military tactician but what did he accomplish back in his homeland to be such an important figure?).

After November, they could at least start releasing articles of lore about such places and characters, to fill in the blanks and maybe some concept arts. I highly doubt they would even if they thought about it, but that would be very nice of them.

People care about these games lore?
