Can someone give updated advice on what to do for Leathercraft skillup 90+? I'm at 92 and still doing Raaz Hides since they seem to be easiest. Tried Peiste Mantle but those skins can have terrible drop rate. Griffon Leather and other things too expensive.
I'd say any of the crafts using Behemoth Leather would be a good option, they are 4.5k each off the green thumb moogle with Behemoth memento.
All of those synths require other items that can be time-consuming/costly to make. They seem to require Coeurl Hide which you have to farm for leather. The drop rate for Coeurl Hides is just as bad as Peiste skin.
Crafting past 90 gets expensive for every craft, you can't really do it cheap, hell I'd consider behemoth hides at 50k/stack off the moogle to be pretty damn cheap.

[52 days between previous and next post]Your best bet is going to be Griffon Leather up to 107. Just buy whatever Griffon Hides you can from the AH, synth them to leather, and sell them individually. It's a profit synth.
As for 107-110 that's going to be a pain. You'll need to farm Squamous Hides and the drop rate on those are pretty terrible. actually dynamic belts 99-110
